You must of been watching a different game then, because that happens all the time from set pieces and there was minimal contact and the Rovers player collapsed like a house of cards!

That penalty was ********, if a ref gave a penalty for that everytime there would be 20 penalties per match, imo.

Sapphire and Steel was excellent but I also liked: Automan, a sort of Tron clone. The greatest American hero, which must have the best theme tune ever! and of course our very own, Worzel Gummidge!

Easily the best and most gripping programme on TV in the last few years, and tonight's episode didn't disapoint.

Flashforward, on Five did anyone else see this? Wasn't as bad as I expected it to be, the background story is quite interesting(the entire population of the world blacksout for 2 minutes 17 seconds at the same time and they all get a glimpse of their future's). I'll give it a few more weeks before passing judgement though.

I'm currently reading, Juliet Naked by Nick Hornby and I'm struggling to be honest. I'm a fan of his and can usually finish reading one of his novels inside two days, but this!!! It's like High Fidelity but without the good bits!

Azincourt by Bernard Cornwell, he of Sharpe books fame! Because of this I was looking forward to reading it but I never finished it. It was so dull I'm surprised I managed to get over half way through it! A very poor effort from an author who has written some excellent books!

First time I've been able to post since watching their match yesterday! Firstly how cringeworthy was it to see their fans having their photo's taken with their new owner? It was so laughable seeing them clamber for autographs I nearly choked on my pint! I mean ffs if I saw Markus Leibherr I would shake him by the hand thank him for buying the club and that would be it, I wouldn't want his autograph nor would I want my photo taken with him! He's an owner ffs not a star striker. Then he sat in the stands in the second half, lol, what a tw*t! Loved it when the commentator said they'd managed to find him a seat in the stand, I mean be fair he only had a choice of 3000! Looks like they've got their very own arab Rupert Lowe!
