I would have thought that at least James and Lallana would have participated in the 3-0 home loss debacle against Watford last year. I don't think Pardew vs Boothroyd has any particular importance to be honest. Both will send out their best available team with a tried and tested game plan.

Not ones Pardew trusts in centre -mid.We have a lot of players but very few of them are in the picture.Just like strikers in theory we have 4 or 5,but only Connolly,Lambert and Papa are of any interest as starters.Big effective,small first team squad.It's gonna get pruned. 6 out, 2 or 3 in would be my prediction.
