Arsenal are in for everyone with a pair of boots. As I told you the other day, Arsene likes a free lunch with any agent that gives him a call in Sao Paulo. Journos pick it up and make up bolloaks about it.

Your average footballer will say anything, probably even believes it to be true, until he gets a better offer that is.
-
Depends who we can find to sell to us on the never never really
-
Come monday we'll probably only have 2 real players left...the 2 that are still in Brazil,
-
But the manager decided on that right, well perhaps not the never-never payment plan but on the fact that Shaw could go...Manager wasn't fussed about him, why should we be.
-
don't think that they're too bad, it's the different ethnies within each national group that don't always get on.
-
depends what he has to work with in the way of raw material really, the world's bestest GK coach couldn't make silk purses out of sows' ears such as Gazza and Fourpast. A coach can only do so much, if there's no basic talent they can't create it.
-
Billingsgate ahoy I think.
-
But seriously though, if MP was still manager at Saints would we even be talking about these much hyped Dutchmen...probably not, we get a dutch coach and hup we want to fill our side with beetroot heads. We perhaps need to reflect more on potential players before posting and stop being so blinkered. Before we "go dutch" in a big way we should remember Steve De Ridder, the kid that Toon had on loan at the end of last season, Van Wolfsdoings etc etc etc. The Eredivisie isn't the premier league and there are some absolutely atrocious sides to boost your goal scoring stats against. The Dutch national side is good but without Robben who knows what it would be like. They played France back in March without him and they were awful, absolutely awful.
-
Will be a good kit then, we all know Cortese's opinion on tat.
-
Not really they just want to move to the next level, same as everybody else I'd think. We have failed to do that, the top players are entitled to move on, they don't want to be relying on players like Jos and Gazza next season, simple as that..
-
Knowing too much I expect.

27 million is a great sale, as long as no one tries to make me believe that we got far more I have absolutely no problem with it at all. Lovren next,Osvaldo out on loan again, maybe Gaston don't really know, then Morgan and that will be about it for this summer on the outs front.
-
Why would that be then, surely we've been assured that we're going to carry on in the same fashion.
-
Non-disclosure clause at the back of that somewhere perhaps.
-
But the crazy sums being touted around won't be what we actually get, not immediately anyway. So anyway lets say 30 million to make the maths easy, plus 4 for Rickie,a bit for Fox and do we count Puncheon. 2 million from MP as well. So that's nigh on 40 million that we'll have banked, let's get spending it to back up Uncle Les's "esbroufe". We are a selling club again, kerching, keep that cash register red hot.

Telling it like it is again eh Bri.

Morgan Called Up for France WC Squad (Official)
Window Cleaner replied to St Chalet's topic in The Saints
Prepare yourself psychologically then. You've still got a few weeks yet. Still never mind we'll surely get a hot shot dutchman to replace him. -
Or to save a bit of face on our guff and bravado..not to mention a bit of an excursion to Brazil, mind you with England's showing they might as well have gone on a day trip to Bognor, come back with a stick of rock instead of empty handed.
-
So they're giving us not a penny less than 40 million £ is that right...must be I guess.
-
Whole mega billion global fashion industry is based on it though.
-
Hernandez won't play for Saints...he wants to go somewhere else, can't remember where though.
-
They get Nike or someone to advance him the swans, been done many times
-
No idea, apparently we can but I don't see much action so I wonder, I wonder about a lot of things though, I have that kind of mentality.

There has been a development on this,Bilbao have announced that Herrera has paid his buy out clause 36 million€ (about 28 million £) and he's gone to Utd. The great advantage of these clauses is that they're payable in one hit so Bilbao aren't bothered by any agent's fees, payment delays, options or adds-on. They had no control over the player's desire either though, if he pays he becomes a free agent. Utd were obviously trying to get better terms.
