Doesn't matter what she's saying, it's crap. Hope I'll not get an infraction for that for "trampling on posters' dreams"

Does he not have the final word on who stays and who goes ?
-
We shall see, not expecting anywhere near as much to be spent myself, to me 35 million would be a decent figure, depends who we sell, really can't see a mass exodus. Morgan and Dejan of the "good" players, Osvaldo on loan and Gaston of the others. Can't see anyone paying the ridiculous fees for Shaw or Lallana so unless we're going to back down on that it won't happen.
-
And twice the figure that our revered source Guan gave us...

Oh I don't know, whilst they're getting their Chelsea pay and a game now and then with a Chelsea reserve set up like Vitesse Arnhem what's not to like. Cork was always loaned out anyway, got the best of both worlds, Chelsea money and regular football even though he wasn't good enough to get into their side. Anyway I see that Gerrard is now saying that we give young players too much money too soon, perhaps he should tell that to Liverpool then.

Right, don't remember much about that day except that we lost, Mark broke his leg,and that beer was difficult to get before the KO. Waited for ages for a pint in the "Black Horse" only to find out it was a LLoyds Bank. -

He was, not sure he went to Mexico with England though, didn't he break a leg in the cup semi at Highbury ? -
Well there's a newspaper report on another thread saying that the minimum price is now 40 million so if ESPN are saying that it's not even 34 million (which will include a lot of adds-on) then who knows who's roughly correct and who isn't. Still never mind it sells advertising on blogs and in papers.

All sounds fair enough, I think that we can lean towards them not being the best of friends any more. Koeman is said to have had problems with players from time to time in the past, no doubt he's moved on from then so we can only really wait and see.
-
Well back in January I advocated selling Shaw and replacing him with either Ricardo Rodriguez or Faouzi Ghoulam, either of them would have cost us less than 10 million £ at that time, Ghoulam went to Naples for about 7 million€ and now Rodriguez will cost you so much more than he would have then. These 2 players are equally as good as Shaw, probably better defenders and better crossers to boot, we missed out on them tough titty for us.

Hodgson had the idea in his little bonce that Gerrard was the man for that job, nothing else mattered, he made a pig's ear of it as I predicted that he would. He does not really comprehend modern football that's all. PL managers are getting younger and younger and yet the England role is given to an old dinosaur who had a moderate success with the Swiss national side many moons back. Hodgson was a disaster at Liverpool, should never have been given the England job that is all.
-
Phil Jones for instance,

Shaw being a young player doesn't count on anyone's home grown quota for the time being anyway.
-
The system or systems that we use next season will depend entirely on the players we have available when the season starts and that remains a total mystery as of yet. In the meantime I shall be eagerly awaiting signs of what he proposes to do with Mayuka,Sharp etc.

Dejan Lovren hands in transfer request
Window Cleaner replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
We shall find out soon enough I guess, suppose he'll be back from Brazil tomorrow, don't know if he'd be expected to return to SMS before he takes his holidays though. Anyway there seems to be plenty of wheeling and dealing going on in Brazil just now, they said on French TV yesterday that Wenger receives agents proposing players to him nigh on every day whilst he's out there working for TF1, can't be the only one can he, bet he's tapping up like crazy as well, he has players in a lot of squads to visit. -
Really can't see why any of you are bothered about this game, Hodgson was always going to make a pig's ear of the job so whatever he does now won't change that. He'll make a pig's ear of the Euro 2016 as well if he's allowed to. England need to appoint a younger manager now and stop tarting about with these old fogeys. Give the job to G Neville now and let him get on with it, you never know by Summer of 2016 he might have got the hang of it.
-
Can't possibly see what difference it makes really. Don't think ther transfer has been officialised by the FA yet, the rest is just paperwork. We sold him whilst he was still much in the public eye as a WC hotshot, now England have been eliminated in a sorry manner and he's just another ageing player. Should have got shot of the other 2 as well and be spending the swans already.
-
Have either of them actually played in this WC so far? Straight question, no innuendo included. I lik Phil Jones as a player, I'd have him in the side instead of a variety of people, starting with Gerrard, certainly in this heat. Maybe he's not 100%, Jones that is. Trouble with Jones and Man U is that he gets shifted around to fill anyy gap that opens up, can't be doing him much good, then again that's Moyes for you.
-
Sounds like a yank "fan" though, opinion thus can be discounted.
-
I thought that but didn't like to say so, other than that MU have already told us to f*ck right off anyway because Van Gaal has other targets in mind and we're putting on a show of bravado.
-
Always the Daily Mail though isn't it. Our tame press outlet. If the price is really 40 million then he'll be with us next season, no manager in his right mind will pay, or recommend paying to his board, 40 million for Shaw. Utd have Evra for one more season at least, Evra is a top top LB so they get a stand in for 8/10 million and tell us to f*ck off.
-
You always get a few rakes like George Wickham though, fortunately there are a few Lydias as well.
-
Alternatively you could say that the club didn't particularly want either of them and let them wander off after accepting money to let them do so. We really don't know what went on, no point in pretending that we do. All in all we're 6 million £ + richer.
-
There are no traitors here, just 2 blokes who decided that they wanted to move on and that other clubs could offer them more. It's football....................
