What would be the point in that, the basic reason that Mauricio may well leave is that the club's ambition probably didn't match his own, the reason that he came here in the first place. Basically that means not enough money available to build the side he wants. Mancini and Benitez would probably want even more money, which they won't get because the taps have been turned off, so there's no point in even dreaming about hiring blokes of their stature. We'll get some second rate bottom grubber or a total unknown from continental europe, like Petrescu.

QPR's squad was poor this season, they've cut costs and the side has suffered. I mean Clint Hill and Richard Dunne just are too old for any serious purpose except winning high balls, Zamora, that's pure junk on a realistic basis compared to say Remy. Rednapp has done well, cut costs and got promoted.

But we won't because we'll certainly have inferior players and no doubt an inferior manager...unless the club is sold to someone with some serious spending money that is.

contrary to the mass flow I actually think he did a decent job at Brighton and again at Sunderland. Sorting out the mess Di Canio left wasn't easy I'd think but he got them to safety with some decent performances.

Indeed, have any club ever succeded in holding a manager to his contract, it's not the same as for players. The club does not hold their registration, managers can resign, isn't that what we wanted Adkins to do at first.

I'd still like to think he'll stay but that if he doesn't it would only be because the ambition that he was sold 18 months back no longer exists.

Why do we need to sell players to raise funds. We had over 100 million £ in revenue last season. Selling those who are useless to us will be quite enough, anyone would think the owner needs to take money out of the club and as many of you have assured me that that is not the case there's no reason to sell players is there.

it's 2 million £, everybody knows that. We aren't in a position to ask for 10 million.

And in top flight football circles 2 million £ is nothing, nothing at all.

Either Ralph obviously wanted to be top dog or any respectable candidate for the job didn't want to be playing second fiddle to an ice hockey gab artist who obviously had the ear of the owner...

perhaps we can get an Ice Hockey manager then, perhaps Ralph fancies the job himself. Must be crap hot at it because Canada without him got overturned by the French in the recent World Championship. Must have been a case of poor team, great consultant and motivator at the Olympics then.
