Inferior side devises tactics to get a point away from home, what's wrong with that? You just have to accept that football is about getting as many points as you can to give yourself a chance of promotion or not gettinbg relegated or whatever. They were inferior, they stimied us, mission accomplished. .

I would deny it as well, Mum looks like a real dragon, wouldn't like to get caught tupping her daughter myself.
-
That's just the thing, you never know what Utd's team is going to look like, Moyes just dips into a sort of mega million £ jamboree bag and pulls out a few plastic knick knacks from within. He won't play Kagawa, he won't play Zaha and he likes the dimuntive Phil Jones at CB.
-
In fact Swansea had plenty of pace and we even gave them a hand up in using it by playing Foxy, they still lost 2-0 though. Pace isn't everything.
-
Wow, from those photies I'd get Mrs Moyes to do the half time talks, players would be afraid of her, probably more afraid than they ever were of Sir Alex. Hard looking lady.

Anyone who had seen them getting mauled by Sunderland last Saturday would be doubtful of their ability against a side with a mean defensive record. If Sunderland had had a real striker or even converted a couple more of the easy chances that they had Utd wouldn't have gcome back from the dead. Altidore is crap and Giaccherini missed a real sitter.

don't know Bearsy, the number of young French blokes who've played for the Bleuets and then chosen to represent their African nationalities at full international level is infinite. I have absolutely no idea what they class as an official tournament.

You can push national pride to a certain point, when it becomes evident that you're not going to get a call up at any price then you either have to accept that or look at your other possibilities (if they exist that is) I've always said that Morgan won't get to play for France whilst he's at Saints and Deschamps is in charge, don't see any reason to change that opinion. He had a great season last year and was evidently a far better player than several that they've called up after one or two respectable games for sides like St Etienne and Monaco, he must know that he'll be passed over for ever and may want to change that.

Zaha has some sort of adaptation problems I believe, there was even talk of him being loaned out a while back. Ferguson bought him, Moyes doesn't seem to rate him anywhere near as highly. Seems to be a right mess.

tell that to the BBC and FIFA then England manager Roy Hodgson said on Match of the Day on Saturday that he had been keeping an eye on a player whom he described as a "real talent". The sport's governing body Fifa states a player is eligible if "he has lived continuously for at least five years after reaching the age of 18 on the territory of the relevant Association".

Sunderland looked OK in the first half against Utd, their problem is Altidore, he's just too slow and doesn't look too bright. They should try Wickham on point instead, can't be any worse really. Perhaps their US owner stipulates at least 1 yank in their side though.
-
Looked at that yesterday, don't think we can go much lower than about 7th if we lose by the odd goal or two. Can even stay top 6 if Everton and Hull draw or Hull win by not many.

just been rerading all the guff about that Belgian/Albanian/Turkish/Serbian lad who plays for Utd. Apparently a whole host of our players could (in theory) be capped for England if they should wish to abandon their home country. Morgan and José for instance. Both have been here continously for at least 5 years after they were 18 so they'd be eligible if they were interested and England wanted them. I think Morgan really has to decided soon because with that knobber Deschamps in charge he's never ever going to get the nod.

Seems a trifling injury to keep a footballer out for very long. Still it's Utd so they could just be using it as an excuse (sorry reason) to keep him out of international games. As they've Sociedad on the Wednesday after they play us they'll surely be up to all of their usual injury stunts as far as internationals are concerned. Think Belgium are already pretty much qualified already as they only need a point from games against Croatia and Wales..

Fellaini has a problem with his wrist, getting it done this week, out for an undetermined time.
-
It's probably something to do with Ferguson no longer being there but Utd's defence is ageing and has become porous. Vidic looked awful on Saturday, Rio looked like a complete mug against West Brom and the others are all erratic too. For years they've relied on Vidic and Rio to shore up at the back whilst they ground sides down and eventually got Fergie time winners. Now they ship goals that they wouldn't have done 2 seasons back. They have failed to reinforce the CB positions in due time and now they are paying the price.
-
Depends who Moyes decides to play in midfield. Think Fellaini will still be out so that means Carrick,Cleverly,Anderson and Nani to choose from in theory. Carrick didn't look at all great on Saturday so if he produces more of the same Morgan and Victor will eat them alive. Hope he plays Vidic and Jones in central defence again though...that was awful unless of course you see it from an opponents point of view. Sunderland squandered a shedload of chances and of course were made to pay for that in the end. If they'd had anyone more effective than Altidore on point they could have got 6 at least.

Chevanton ? Was a decent player when he was at Monaco a few years back, had a few years in the wilderness since I think but may possess the experience that they might well need to get them over the line at the end of the season ,bit like Billy Sharp for us. Probably playing for not much money and probably isn't very fit yet.

Snodgrass isn't all that good really, not compared to Dyer anyway.

Gaston obviously has his thoughts turned towards Uruguay's qualifiers next week and as he wouldn't be starting anyway there was probably no point in retaining him for a 10 minute run out. Uruguay play in Quito on Friday I think so perhaps they made a request to clubs to assemble their squad earlier because going from sea level to play at 10000 ft without acclimatisation takes some doing. -
West Ham are a difficult side to beat, Sam's made them that way and to me Spurs look a bit lightweight in the middle so really the result is not a surprise. On the subject of Spurs that Paulinho looks like a total waste of money and Lamela..well not the miracle worker he was made out to be really, a non event when faced with hard men like Demel , Diamé and Noble.
-
not at all, they just come through your virtual letterbox when you watch streamed games .
-
Probably one of the worst players in the PL though and certainly probably the worst player in a side with top 8 ambitions.
-
They know we have had to put Fox into our defence, they'll try to exploit that early on, should be fragile at the back if we can get at them though.
-
Confirmed no Shaw or Gaston, same team as last week except Fox for Shaw.
