  1. And yet the clamour was often for a midfield enforcer in the mould of Diamé, so we got one and now we want to go back to our brain over muscle pairing.I'm certainly not anti Wanyama but he's not the top top player many claimed he would be. Still I doubt that going and having a kick about in Botswana or wherever it was has done him any good, players often come back from those games with a complete lack of any sense of rythym to their game. Happens all the time after the ACON.
  2. Wanyama doesn't seem to want to pass to Schneiderlin, still I did cast aspertions on what we could expect in the way of consistency from Wanyama over a long season.
  3. I saw the game and can't believe some of the appraisals. I can only think that our troll population is much larger than we'd think.
  4. Can't believe the negativity here this evening, today was trench warfare and we could have won or lost. Iffy ref and dodgy conditions, anyway a draw isn't a bad result compared to our usual standard after international breaks.
  5. yeah right, did some Japanese lady tell you that.
  6. Be sensible ART, who's going to admit to being a Sun subscriber, it's like Men's mags, only people who read them seem to find them on the train or on pub tables or so they say.
  7. not very good up to now though, seems to be playing in CM, losing a lot of balls.
  8. Seem to be a few players missing from the training gallery, although there are not that many photos. Can't see Boruc,JRod,VW,Lovren,Gaston or Clyne. So if you want to go all Where's Wally and prove me wrong that would be good. Some might have been on only light training though.
  9. Poor girl, a fleeting glimpse of her on an obscur training video have made her a totally famous young lady.
  10. Well here's a fairly factual contribution anyway. When Lovren signed for Lyon he admitted that his salary was 130K€ per month, it's no biggy here. Assuming that it's a gross figure it equates to about 100K £ a month so roughly 25K a week. Can't see him having signed for us for less so you can expect that he's on at least 30K a week nowadays.
  11. So in fact you took his (and others) advice at the time and it did not turn out to be productive because the old thread finished in or around November 2011.
  12. some bunch of c..ts will probably let you down, I'm going for Arsenal.
  13. when did Ronaldo play for Hull U15 ladies then ? Or Saints either for that matter.
  14. probably hospital suitable so don't get all excited. Do Vickie's Secret do a hospital range ?
  15. so can I, add on a hidden goalie and there's still 1 missing, probably behind his shoes though.
  16. I think his goals actually brought us 5 points more than if he hadn't scored them because his first goal against Burnley was definitely an own goal. Add back on the 3 we might have obtained in he'd scored the penalty against Blackpool and it's a net 2 point gain. Saved us the play-offs I'd guess.
  17. Fox out for Sunday as likely as not then, twisted ankle. Everyone else good to go.
  18. Wouldn't need to if the mods did their job. I've never put anyone on ignore, they always get quoted so you get to read it anyway.
  19. Honestly I don't think he did himself a lot of good at Forest last year so sticking with his 18K a week or whatever it is might not be a bad idea.
  20. works with Eric then ? Perhaps he is Eric although he's from oop north somewhere. I thought you dropped out after a year or did you go back and finish ? http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?33823-Dropping-Out/page2&highlight=anthropology#.UjMiv9KpWSp
  21. but that they're not getting anywhere fast,
  22. So then where do the Jets go from here ? Sanchez is PUP and Geno Smith is crap, do they have a 3rd option or are they heading for another negative season. Serves them right, Tebow was better than Smith and that's saying something.
  23. You certainly told him not to jack it in at the time to be sure, as did others, can't remember if I proferred advice at all but would have certainly been extremely sceptic at the idea of Bournemouth having a University worthy of the name, it's a tech college as are many others that mascarade as Universities nowadays. There are always rough patches in your time at Uni for varying reasons, lack of money being the principal one in my case but you just have to gut it out because if you don't you'll probably quit just about any other role you'll have in life every time the going gets a bit tough.
  24. you know that, I know that but Glasgow just won't let it go. Serves me right for argueing with a troll I guess, still day off today and it's raining.
