the sticky point is just how much they're willing to pay (or underwrite) for it. for me it's pretty clear; no-one wants NC to leave but he what he wants is what he wants and he's not willing to make too many concessions on his modus operandii. is he any better than say Gaston or Rodwell or Andy Carroll ? Statistically he's one of the top 20 players in the UK; better than Mata or Tevez so who knows what he's worth really. If he really has the ability to raise his game to each level that's needed then he's worth whatever someone is willing to pay.
