QPR can only get 42,Reading 41 and with the Wigan-Villa, Newcastle-Sunderland and Sunderland-Villa games I don't think they can all get 42 points bearing in mind that we have at present a vastly superior GD.

Nigel will be fine in the NPC, it's his level. Expect them to finish comfortably mid-table there next season. When he has a side full of exceptional talent as he did at Saints we shall see how he gets on with it. In the meantime he's got a bunch of plodders so I wouldn't expect any miracles. Still he got Guthrie, one of his summer targets perhaps.
