There is no doubt that Saints have seriously underperformed this season. We should be well above the promoted sides...but we aren't.

Nah, yesterday on t' telly they showed some crowd shots. there was a fat really old bloke with a Saints shirt about 5 sizes too small for him and the old dear next to him looked to be knitting.

They turned it up for a 20 minute session, quite enough to see off a Saints 2 goal lead. Anyway next week they'll thump us from the off more than like. I see us losing by 5 or 6.

Cup semis are obviously the most important thing for them now. Utd won't win the title, they will finish second so they might as well prepare for next week-end really. Same with Arsenal (for the Europa) Spurs and Chelsea, don't know what happened to Saints....:)

Boufal is French, so is Lemina. They've just adopted the nationality of parents or grand parents because they couldn't get into the French senior side.

Hmmm. Adams and Vince gave us a pretty good start but now we're in some difficulty at 164/5 with the Worcs bowlers pinning us down. Still Amla may get a decent score and push us towards 300.

A very premature thread really. We can avoid relegation and should concentrate on doing so. Wins against Bournemouth and Swansea should be well within our grasp and could very well be all we need because I don't see Huddersfield getting many more points.

What does "military grade" actually mean anyway. Just says to me that it wasn't cooked up in a garden shed somewhere. Certainly doesn't seem very efficient, then again neither do a lot of the smart bombs and missiles that get used around the globe these days. I mean look at last April's cruise missile attack in Syria. 59 Tomahawks on an airbase that was functioning again within a couple of days. 59 Tomahawks must cost a packet of dollars for what seems to be a very limited result. One wonders if they weren't "soft" versions really, just for show and effect.

This year's results in the ECL have shown that anything is possible. I mean who expected Roma to pull back 3 goals against Barcelona. These knockout rounds are one off occasions that start at 50-50. Liverpool were impressive over the 2 legs against City and you just can't write them off. With their front trio they can score at any time against anyone.

Yep, good looking line up...if Adams can still open correctly anyway. Just hope we'll get some play this week-end because the pre-season has been a virtual write off. Couple of bitty days in 2 games against Sussex, two wash outs and a day against the students at Cardiff.

Perhaps but Lovren had a better game than VvD last night. The two however make a good pair. Anyway City were unwilling to pay the asking price so that's kind of their problem.

Why should we be bitter ? We sold them players with more ambition than SFC for a lot of money (which we have since wasted on dross). In fact the ECL success of Liverpool so far and our current dilema just bears out the players desire to leave us for a bigger club. The only thing to be bitter about just now is the mismanagement of SFC.

I doubt if we'd even be concerned about any of this if the team wasn't in such an akward position in the League. We appointed a wrong manager after sacking a manager who'd have got better results.
