Dave says the game, the crowd and everything in between is flat today. don't really know why he imagined it would be otherwise. -

fat finger errors are very much in vogue this week. 28 instead of 38 then, -
Since then they've been going on about what a good season we've had.

Bank Holiday in Continental Europe today.(VE day). Maybe Markus has an appointment with Angela Merkel to see how much he needs to lend the Greeks.

what could it possibly matter? -
did they really or did you make that up?
-
Match over, lost again of course. We had them at 32/4 (or something like that) with all their top order gone. That they got a first innings lead and then just bowled us out and picked of the 240 odd required with a couple of sticks of wet celery is just well....
-
Maybe the Germans and the IMF will bail them out and the markets will go into a tailspin again because just like those spendthrift Greeks they won't accept any austerity measures.
-
Except for a brief foray into the Champions League of course, then again Saga scored in the CL and didn't set the world alight when he came back from loan at Aalborg.
-
What changes are possible?? there aren't many other possibilities. We can't bat consistently and we can't bowl out middle order batsmen who come out to tonk and not give a sh*t.For that sort of batsman you need either genuine pace or genuine guile, won't find that with 2 month emergency contracts I'm afraid.

Celtic have never probably even heard of Jason Puncheon, Lambert maybe but they probably think he's still at Bristol Rovers. Unless of course they share an agent and he's shopping them around as a package deal.
-
Is there prize money?? I'm not at all sure that there is. Anyway AP was quite clear last saturday afternoon, strongest available side will be fielded against Southend, surely that's definite enough for anybody and there can be no discussion whatsoever. Usual 1st 11 with Morgan replaced by Antonio.

Perhaps the club has realised that all those extra games for the Cups and days out at Wembley have taken a heavy toll on some household budgets and are giving them a bit of time to recover before having to stump up £300 or so for a ST, because plenty will want to do that.
-
And we were a skinflint club because far too much football money was spent on non-football things, like Chairmen and Performance Directors and Sport's Science Advisors
-
that and too many mediocre players left behind by previous managers guzzling up the money pie as fast as we could bake it. Harry needs to be around good players, we didn't have too many of them.
-
probably can't get on with the cold damp weather.
-
doubt that, he didn't find out about Rupert interfering until it was too late. SCW was the turning point.
-
What's that for then, getting us relegated from the EPL?
-
No they didn't. As I've told you all many times Harry has a way of managing that needs to be left alone and not have too many questions asked about it. If Rupert had just stumped up the cash and let him get on with doing what he does best and faded into the background we'd probably still be in the EPL.

Hooper, Robinson, O'Donovan all have one thing in common, all goal jockeys with a very tasty looking goals/games ratio. Perhaps it's just an area that AP has identified as being primordial (presuming there's any truth in any of them of course) Hope it isn't just a palliative measure to compensate something nasty no longer in the woodshed . -
And yet Lawrie feels that he needs to add his farthing's worth all the same. Once again he's said something when the best thing to do was say nothing. Still may be he got a free lunch out of it or something like that.
-
Brown gone for 81, still need to shift Mullaney pretty quickly though, he's got a batting average of nigh on 80, seems to be some sort of newby to the first class game, just 5 innings so far.
