Lowe & Richards in board room on Sunday at Forest....Confirmed by Club
SFC Forever replied to exit2's topic in The Saints
The thing that gets to me about Lowe is his sheer stupidity. The man sends countless numbers of his mimions out and about waving his PR machines propaganda. He would have been a lot better served by simply openning up and telling us it how it was. Truth may hurt but at the end of the day subterfuge hurts a hell of a lot more. His stupidity is what stopped a lot of people watching the Saints. Not just his arrogance and ignorance. His mind numbing stupidity. Rant over. I want to buy my ST's for next season and his spectre still hangs over us. When are we going to be allowed to forget them all? -
We will rise again of that I am sure.

Why not have a little chant for Rupert at the game instead of verbal abuse, let him know he has no chance of killing us off. Rupert Rupert don't be sore We will live for ever more. -

At the end off the day all that matters is that we have a club to support. -

I stand corrected and shall start wiping the egg off of my face yet again. All though I believe the two sides go together. The creditors will surely get more if the buyers can get a deal that suits both parties. Failure means the end of the club and the selling off of the bits seperately. This with our greatest debt being the stadium would not mean them getting a great deal. IMO of course. And for one wrong as often as I am what do I know? -

I tend to disagree with youBTF. The man may be told to get the best possible price but not at the expence of the club. It has to be a viable proposition surely for him to sanction such a move. -
Got your kit ready for next season I hope.

Don't agree. 10 points is not going to stop us if we are good enough. Not being good enough will however.

Potential signing for next season

Yep, James i am sure could do a job for us there. -
Be nice to see a couple of the reserves ready to step up but after this season I am a bit wary.
-
Problem is because we have been so bad we tend to think of most of them as kids rather than just not good enough. Thomas was never very good and we haven't seen him this season.Spiderman plays as though he has outgrown his body and has no strength. If we could buy a steady right back or if Hatch could step up we could have a good right midfield player in James. Plus his season at rightback might help him cover any runs a rightback would make.
-
So we keep playing with a team full of kids. Where is the muscle?

So thats why Rupie likes the boys

Mark Fry says he has no say, right. In that case we can sign any contracts we want, yes? So we sign KD up for another couple of years on say £5000 per week and nobody is going to say a word???

I don't see why choosing someone who has done well in the lower leages is not ambitious. We are div 1 now and any manager who has shown enough nous as (Tisdale) should in my opinion be among runners for the job.

Can we get us a manager first please? Or are we going to let the team run themselves like this season. -
Last time we were in the 3rd division I was young enough not to really care.

I thought the rule was 10 point deduction this year if it made a difference. So how on earth are Stockport not being treated in the same way?
-
Looks like I should have continued reading as yet again I get the egg all over my face. OH WELL!!!
-
I thought there was a cut of date so that will mean starting next season I am sure.

After the traumas of the last couple of years I am hoping to be able to get an over 60 and a junior. Then my 5 yo can learn to love this club as I do. Took him to 4 this season and thankfully he doesn't yet seem overly concerned about the fact that he has yet to see us win. The whole day with a horde of similarly clad fans and the treats are doing it at the moment. Colour is so important to him.

It is very hard to shine in a side that has been as fragile as ours. Drew has shown glimpses of form and I also feel with a manager who knows his job and is capable, Drew could turn into a very useful player for us. The same I think can be said for DMG. James has shown steady improvement from his rocky start and from all accounts Mills has done relatively well on loan. We need a good disciplinarian to sort out the team and with 3 or 4 additions we could have a fairly strong Division 1 side. It is much to easy to keep on about the players in the squad but unfortunately for them they had to play in roles that didn't suit with little or no help from the management. Sort out the man in charge and I believe Drew and some of the others could flourish far more than they have so far.

How possible would it be for a compilation cd release of some/most of these bands and others to raise funds?
