The thing I like about SMS is that viewing is much better to that of the Dell. Give us something to cheer and our crowd can come to life just as in the old home.

Is it possible to find another Ted Bates? Played well and then Managed us well, before Big Mac took over. Only name that could fit in with that scenario that I can think of is the imcomparable MLT. However I can't see him as Manager material. Would be too perfect for that to be more than idle thoughts.

I'm hoping we all get some good news soon as timeis running out. Other clubs have already started sorting out their squads for next season and the longer this drags on the less scope for purchases.

I wait with bated breath for some news that will cheer us up. The stadium will not be allowed to go as the council will rightly turn down any offers or requests for the site to be used for anything else.Apart from which the ground being contaminated could not have many options available anyway. IMO of course.

All I really care about and want is to be able to watch us next season as we storm the division. Let my son watch his first saints victory.

I believe the problem this season was the fact that we were always struggling as a team to get some points. DMG has often worked back and helped clear our box. With a little more experienced help I feel he would have taken more of his chances. Next season he could do a lot better if he has someone to help him up front and a midfield that is actually worth calling just that.

Even with a 10 point penalty I see no reason why we can't have a go at and get promoted next season. That is if the new owner/s get in a manager worth his salt.

If we were a subsidiary we would have had a seperate bank account wouldn't we. Therefore if we see a player sold do we keep the money for the club thus showing again the club was a seperate entity?

Rasiak i don't particularly want back but DMG could be a very good player for us next season. Taking it as read that we will still be alive. Then with a more experienced side we will see him do better in the CCC.

Looks like we are beginning to panic. No solid info and lots and lots of airy fairy rumours. I like a lot of us would rather just be put out of our misery. Now sooner than later as well. Though as Derry has spoken with Fry I would hope that he would at least get told if we were about to fold. Just in case we were able to do something though god alone knows what.

My only problem is whether Ince would use us as a stepping stone.

Ouch!!!!! Would be a good idea if we hadn't been through the Lowe/Wilde partnership and all the others as well in recent times. Might give us a bit more cash to play with but we could end up with another lot bickering amongst themselves as before. Could work if there was even numbers on both sides of board and independent chairman.

I don't entirely agree. The crowd would also return to see to see a winning team. Or at least a team that we felt had a chance of winning.

If we wanted Scowcroft and couldn't get him bacuse of the cost all we had to do was return a couple of loanies that were never going to work out with this team. Doesn't take a brain surgeon to work that out surely.

We will all be in the know soon and then we'll have something concrete to disect.

You sir are a cretin of the highest order! JLT why when we disagree with someone can't we show a little civility? You lose your argument by bad mouthing others like some common little oik. How many times have you watched the team this year and sworn because a defender has gone on a run and then got caught out of position? How many times have you seen a player make some substantial mark on a game? How many times have you seen our players outmuscled during a game? You don't need to be a genius to know how to change the system or players or both to improve things. Matt is a legend because of his immense talent. He watches a screen in a studio and tells us when a player makes an impression. Not difficult, but because he is a well known name and has some personality he has become a super efficient manager has he? Why don't you apply for the job then as I am sure the rest of us cretins could then bow to your superior knowledge?

If all of the people who beg us to keep paying out were to pay out in ratio to what we pay out according to our wages etc, we would not need them to do so,would we? Because of my love for the Saints I have spent money in the shop, thrown money into the buckets and gone to two games that I had to borrow the money to allow the trips. When I go to Southampton I always take at least one of my kids. I am also getting tired of these trumped up stars telling us to dig even deeper. If they cared half as much as us they would do something about it.
