  1. He is in the lead with 38% now
  2. I don't want to start a row on a site supposedly about football. But have you ever been to a meeting or read the ideals on which BNP is based. It is a party in the UK for citizens of the UK. We would leave the Union if a better deal wasn't forthcoming as a principal. Lots of people mix up the BNP with the National front,Nazi party, Section 19 etc. Making laws to stop any Tom **** or Harry entering our country and immediately start ponsing is a must. I could go on but will leave it by saying, voted BNP. If you would like to continue this debate move it to the lounge and I will happily talk with you.
  3. It is not so strange when somebody has been asked not to spill the beans. Gentlemen can behave. Honour among thieves. Silence is a virtue. Take your pick. I will be happy to see us playing next season, end of.
  4. When people remark about the fragile life of managers I read letters like this and smile. Whoever our new manager is next season will have a reasonably solid groundswell of support willing him to succeed. We know we are going to find it hard but would like to see our team at least play as though they care. A goodish start and who knows wotte could happen. I'm just waiting to say goodbye to What.
  5. Brighton also has some really good shops hiding between the coast and the high street. I also feel Brighton will be a harder game because they will treat it more like a derby.
  6. Thanks, I thought it was just my box.
  7. You seem to have speeded up nick. How many can you post in a day? What is the record? Maybe you can win that race.
  8. Be very careful. Let someone test it first.
  9. Just use a sock and fill it with a lead weight. One swing and bingo. Works for me.
  10. All forums need regular posters to keep them going. Whilst they may at times write a load of codswallop they will alternatively amuse and infuriate you. With luck they will even write some sensible articles that others can relate to or have realistic debate over. Keep going Nick because I know from my other sites that it is not always easy finding something worth saying.
  11. If we brought Tisdale in could wotte not stick around as his assistant or temporary DOF. He knows the players and would be able to give his opinion on what is needed.
  12. If Aviva did decide that they were going to keep the stadium how much could they get to allow the team full access? Would it be in their interest to up the ante? Pinnacle fail will we be able to continue for much longer?
  13. When we finally get the news that the deal has been done, we probably won't believe it. The amount of **** that ITK's keep billowing out from their orifices will have us all too bemused.
  14. 28% and still climbing slowly
  15. 21% at mo
  16. MLT I agree, is all we need. He is intelligent enough to understand his priorities. The club will not always come first but I am sure he will be able to keep us heading in the right direction.
  17. With Matt Oakley and Michael Svensson we would probably have stayed up.
  18. I have voted higher because we are going to do well this season. About time we started enjoying our soccer again.
  19. I go along with the good vibes required group. We are so very close to being rescued you can almost smell the grass. Then we will be selecting the players we feel could do a job for us under a new manager. The sky may be blue but everything is glowing RED and WHITE.
  20. A bit like our players. Don't know how to enter the opposition half and score a goal. God i hope we get some new players quick.
  21. I feel that Perry, as steady as he was last year is going to be found out by the horde of younger forwards running against him. In my book we need 2 CB's and a Back. Gillett will need help in midfield so I would look for a big strong central midfield player. We definitely need two strikers as insurance. Though our kids showed some promise last season none really showed enough to bet your house on them. Pulis is a strong type of player I believe. We will know soon enough unless he sustains another injury. Any players brought in must be physically capable of taking stick and dishing it out. Not that I want a dirty side but we must be fully able to defend ourselves. After all we will be like a big fish in a small pond to a lot of the other teams. Especially if we start with a great run.
  22. It makes me wonder sometimes how many on this forum actually watched a game last season. Our team was so lightweight that the other teams soon learned that they could simply walk through us without worrying about our pretty pretty football. Now we have peopl suggesting that these same players are good enough to see us get back into the CCC. The players are not big or strong enough. The division we are now in relies more on strength than pure skill. Without players of similar stature we will be swamped again.
  23. Maybe it is because more of us are literate.
  24. When I lived in London I watched Wimbledon climb from the Southern League up to the top echelon. I do not want to watch us do the same in reverse. Pre-season training is all about getting fit. These games are in July and I for one am hoping for much better fare as the new season approaches.
