Someone is trying to upset me and is succeeding.

I still believe he should have gone when Jan went. He didn't and then put his foot in it with his speech against the supporters. That said and even though he failed to turn it round and we got relegated. I feel he has shown some quality inthe way he continued after the season finished.

I am a nobody and could very easily get upset if people keep having a go at nobody. Nobody is perfect I hear you say. Very nice if you know me but if not I feel as though you are taking the P. Nobody gives a toss you reply. I do not do that either. Not in public anyway. -
45% but now I seem unable to add to his score.

One thing we seem to be forgetting is that we are a new club in many respects. Or will be once bought. The new owner won't owe us any bonuses at all.
-
I think a good start will see a jump in ticket sales. A lot of people may well go at the start of the season and if we are playing well will encourage others back. It wouldn't be difficult to organise the prices for anybody who chose to get a ST after the season had started. Simple mathamatics really to make the savings comparable.

The tribe is not happy. Their leader "Bumble" was found 226 miles away stuck to the front of a train. The funeral will be held once Bumble is returned to his homeland. -
You could always try opening a new thread yourself on something you find worthwhile and interesting..

If Pinnacle started adding funds from other bidders could not the creditors then turn round and ask for a higher bid as more funds are available?

I think with the timing of everything the best we can hope for this coming season is a strong position maybe just above halfway. The fact we will have a team will be enough for us this time around. However, for the next season I will be wanting a serious push for the CCC.

Still 40% against 36

TBF I think a lot of us feel the same. Now we have a chance to start the long climb back to the top. It has gone full circle for me as I began watching when 6yo in 1956.The youngest of our fans have been dealt a poor hand and just need to wait as their time will come.
-
Might I suggest the delay is causing us a wee bit of concern with regard to our plans for the coming season. Or do you think we still have oodles of time in which to put new men in place to run the whole shebang and pick a manager who will then need to acquire some new players pretty darn quick. I for one am concerned.

I thought it was and sounded no different when read allowed.

Chapel arms and usually have my 5 yo son with me.

And also, if the points gained were enough we might still be a CCC side. I have said before that if he stays it should at most be as an assistant. I do believe we need a clean sweep though. That said I am a saints fan first and having seen how close we have come to oblivion I will back the new owners regardless. I would hope that they have a bit more gumption than the previous lot and would change things if they needed it.

Last season has to be the worst I have witnessed in the 56 odd years I have watched the red and Whites. The biggest disaster area has slung his hook after making certain we would be screwed. You can try telling me that it was Barclays that pulled the plug but I would expect someone in his position to know exactly where he stood in such a set of circumstances. Everyone caught up in the sorry mess has to pay the price. As much as Wotte may have done in recent times he failed to motivate our team enough to win a game at home against any of the bottom teams if I remember correctly. That alone should secure him his P45.
-
Not who but Wotte does he think he is.
-
Yes Farmer I do believe I did

WSS I would love it if you were correct. However, it is a hypothetical question asked in response to another post. The question still stands. As could the added question how much would we need to play next season if push came to shove.

The BN****ue is no different to a lot of people slagging of the Chavs in our club. There are a lot of good men and women who have got progressively disallusioned by the way our country is going down the pan. We are dictated to by geneva and have to toe the line with so many rules being forced upon us because we have a weak government that will tell you and me how strong we are whilst handing over ever more of our sovereignty. I am English but I am not allowed to say so on any of the legal documents now. I don't care who lives in my country but I do expect them to live by our rules and honour our codes.

How on earth are we going to keep this thread going for so long when we are going to be talking, so to speak, about nothing? Nothing which could in fact be anything, which could be open to discussion. If it is open to discussion is it possible for someone to have an opinion on the subject opposite to mine or indeed yours? -
There is always a first time. MLT has saved this club on numerous occasions with a flash of brilliance. I really don't care who is in the boardroom just as long as they give us a manager who can do exactly that. We are going to find it tough going this time around as we have little time in which to bolster our lightweight squad. We desperately need some muscle and speed could help as well. Tisdale or O'Driscoll could do a job for us as could Simpson. Ince I feel is to big and stroppy and could cause more problems with his do as you are told or else attitude. He has tasted the big time and as such I feel he is way out of our league.

We can't all do that or the site would get swamped with so many new unpaid memberships.
