Not sure I believe this one to be honest, but hey who knows?

I would hope this would be a loan to purchase deal to be honest otherwise (assuming he gets starts), the team spirit might take a bit of a tumble. Need to remember loaned players are at another club usually largely for their own purposes IMO.

They try to cover too much in too little time - same before as now. In the intro to the show they declared they would be analysing Saints staying power to see out the NPC as Champions (or words to that effect). Great I thought - this will be interesting. What do we get? 3-4 sentences - it's all over in 30 seconds...quite literally. They might not have bothered for all the good it was. Not sure I'll be watching that again (well I might next week because the Saints game will be featured as it's on the Monday). lol

My take on it is, providing we go up, the expectation is for us to be knocking on the door of the top 6 thus negating some of the wish to join a 'bigger' club. This was the wish of Markus and the goal for Nicola.

If there's no news by midday tomorrow I will start to become a little concerned. We certainly need to strengthen in a number of areas and I forsee a problem with confidence evaporating if we continue to lose games - especially at home. We've done very well so far - sustaining the effort was always going to be an issue.

To be fair, that's not a bad offer for a 1st team level player that's not playing any games. I personally think he is being punished for something (dissent?) and the club has unofficially put his career on hold as a result (i.e. £1M or rot).

This guy is good and it looks feasible that the double loan (as stated in the article) is possible. If the lad helps bolster the squad for our run-in, why the hell not?!

Unfortunately I agree. We're an unbalanced side not firing on all cylinders and without big characters on the pitch at the moment. It's not the end of our promotion push, but it could be a defining moment.

I wouldn't take Jones back here - he'd not be welcomed. However, so typical of the boring morons on here to slate the OP in the same way as if he'd started the rumour rather than just convey the message. This. However, at the moment in the NPC Kelvin is definately adequate and deserves his place because of his loyal service to the club when the times were very bad indeed. Has everyone forgotten how he stuck with us when all the others fled like rats from a sinking ship?

"Play"? Not really how I would describe his contribution. His team-mates certainly were more than a little reticent in passing the ball to him. He ran around a bit and tried to look interested (well, Pardew was sat in the stands looking on at the team he had decided to take on, so he probably knew he had to make an impression).
