Just watched the 'absolutely raped him clip' on related videos, forgot about that- absolute classic from AP.

No problem!

Ha yeah, it's not clear, they must assume people know.

Assuming you can't do the season ticket in safe thing, I reckon you could quite easily find two vacant seats somewhere around there. Or buy the girlfriend a season ticket too!!
-
ah, that's a good idea!
-
It means two half season tickets- One of which is an adult, the other is a child under 16, 12 or 8. HTH

Umm well technically you are stuck in the seat in which you purchase the ticket, however you can quite easily find two seats two empty seats and sit there. Which end do you like to sit in usually?
-
When you get a half season ticket it's essentially the same as having one of the old memberships- u get first pick of the tickets before general sale, so you just then buy the tickets either online, over the phone or from the ticket office, stating your season ticket number if you have to. In terms of sitting next to that person, the only way you can really do it is by making sure you get a season ticket that does not have another season ticket holder next to it (the ticket office can tell you that) and then make sure you get the ticket as soon as it goes on sale so noone gets it first. As said above, I think you can get one minus the games already played.

Ever come accross David Crystal? He is highly critical of prescriptivist linguists- those who feel that every rule should be followed to the letter. Bit of a nutter but I like the cut of his Jib. http://www.1066andallthat.com/english_modern/crystal_interview.asp

I see they're now on sale: http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~1837955,00.html Saturday's attendace was over 21,000, with about 1,000 MK Dons fans there, meaning there were a lot of fans who just bought tickets for that day and were not season ticket holders. We have beeen getting near to 20,000 for a while now too, so one would suspect that a large amount of non-season ticket holders have been going to a number of games. Surely if we can keep winning we can sell a couple of thousand of these by Chistmas? Is anyone considering getting one who decided not to get a full season ticket?

As someone who's currently studying for an English Literature degree, I always try to write correctly, in terms of both grammar and spelling. However, I have never been an amazing speller, and there are certain words that I often make mistakes with. Not the examples you use above, I don't struggle with homophones, but other fairly common words that you may expect an educated person to be able to spell. These are not deliberate mistakes, it's just for some reason a select few words get me every time. I don't think that bad spelling or punctuation is a sign of ignorance or even that it can be used as any sort of indicator of a person's intelligence. I'm no scientist but I'd suggest, at least in my own case, it's about the way the writer's thought processes work and how their brain does certain stuff. I feel that I am perfectly capable of writing so that people can understand me, it's just that I can't for the life of me spell certain words. Saying this though, I do usually look the spelling of a word up before I use it if I'm not sure, but this is so as not to embarrass myself, not for anyone else's benefit.

So basically, if we take the games 3 at a time, if we win 2 out of 3 of every 3 games, we should reach the play-offs. When you look at it like that it does look pretty achievable. It means even when we have a fixture like Leeds away, if we can win the 2 games either side of it a loss shouldn't affect our progress.

Ladbrokes.com have us at 80/1 if you are gonna put money on it.

Agree with all of this really. Only other position I'd consider bringing someone in for would be the defensive midfield role that Wotton's playing at the moment. He is doing it really well but with someone of real quality we could see our midfield, at least when playing this 4-5-1 system, really taken to another level.

You can see all 3 of the afformentioned players in one game here: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=9024836154390592659&q=ron+davies#

Do you think they need to keep reminding themselves as the people of Milton Keynes have only recently stolen a football team?!

Was pretty evident that our stick affected his game today, a good laugh and a helping hand to our Players. Anyone who was at Stockport earlier in the season may remember the stick we were giving to their keeper, which also affected his game. Although there weren't as many of us there, being so close to the pitch you could really get your message across. That day we were only shouting 'Fon' (keepers name is Fon Williams) but he aso started kicking the ball into touch. Good times.

Great, cheers! Looks like it's going to be a great turn out then. Many more like this and you're going to have to change your username

Don't suppose anyone has asked how many they've sold as of today?
-
very sad news, i hope there's something we can do as fans and friends to help you through this horrible time. A benefit match sounds like a great idea.
-
Agreed. Hopefully Donny will put in an offer.
-
Unless that's their actual faces, then it'd be preeettttyyy easy.

Not sure how many more we're likely to get for Charlton? It says that we had only sold 2,500 2 days before the Torquay game, but that game wasn't on sky!
