Its a big gulf but thats just rediculous, besides, from your own mouth 'money talks'

Well.... Some people have been known to play again straight after tearing an ACL, as what happened with Gazza Its such a bad injury as it doesnt have a blood supply and so cannot repair itself. Its normally damage to other parts of the knee that provides the 'pain' so without wanting to play devils advocate I think its worse news that he has no pain, especially if he has plenty of swelling.
-
TBF there was an agenda there, either way, cortese has got us this far and thankfully Kat has taken over before overindulgence caused us too much damage. Onwards n upwards

Cruciate - personal opinion, hope not Prob 6 months, just hope he comes back the same

I have said all along that this summer is one of not really knowing where we are going, similar to when ML originally gained control, our future is obviously secure but we have been used to a few years of cash being spent and real ambition. I really hope that remains For me though keeping up Poch's good work is vital, plus spending on a few good players, as itll keep what we have for atleast a year. Despite the club saying we arent a selling club I think without a SHOW of ambition the talent we have here may look elsewhere.

Alpine, you've been warned about leaving your password around

I hope to christ it isnt but Id probably put money on it that he has by the way it looked and the fact it has already swollen
-
Itll be cruciate, medial or lateral at best. Either way he will struggle to make the world cup, just hope its not the cruciate as generally as good as rehab is these days that injury is a career breaker.
-
He needs support as like everything in sport confidence is very much a leveller, he clearly knows he isnt cut out at this level, you can see that they way he tries to pep himself up, aswell as the other players. Its just dissapointing he is our second/third choice, its not really his fault, he really should be out on loan somewhere. Nevertheless though it must be demoralising for his defence knowing they have to protect him more, as a defender that gets in your head and you make mistakes.
-
What are your thoughts as a coach ? When I watch lallana, J Rod and Lambert you can see a progression in areas they were lacking but everytime I have seen Gazza he has made the same old mistakes time and time again. This is despite what I hear that he came highly recommended and was being looked at by bigger clubs then us. Lack of aptitude, ability or hard work ?

Agreed, they have tried to keep a broad spectrum though whilst keeping people interested by keeping it short. From a europe point of view I dont want us to come out of the eurozone but I think we need to protect ourselves by being in control about vital legislations and in respect of Immigration I think it is very much a requirement but we need to restrict it to just skilled workers in areas that we have a need for them.

How is it bull**** ? They may well be planning, infact Id be very very surprised if there wasnt 4-5 clubs or more looking at both of our boys and more in the squad.

He is good, well he is very goodbut yes, I think if he was tall with a blonde afro we wouldnt be getting the scholes comparison

Is that the actual steed malbranque ?

Young men on motorbikes ... discuss
Smirking_Saint replied to CHAPEL END CHARLIE's topic in Motoring Forum
Not a fan of motorcyclists at all, if there is a bike around me I make sure I give them room to **** off. They dont seem to care how close they get to you, cut you up, overtake dangerously, undertake. Pain in the ass -
Yup, normally you can rely on finding a wet patch but this certainly muddies the water
-
This basically, though many people tend to form their opinions to suit the masses
-
Obv there is a reasonably easy fix, get Valdes and Puyol to sign 1 year deals
-
Pretty sure they cant stop clubs selling, just stop the registration of new players. Granty raises a good point regarding Ter Stegan though
-
You cant really criticise the man, he was up against what is going to be european champions again TBH and arguably the best manager in world football right now. They also dropped into more of a 451 in defence and pushed back up to a more 4411 in attack with rooney in behind welbeck but as I said criticising his tactics is a bit dopey. He set the team up well TBH, Id love to have read the comments if he matched them and got a toeing
-
I agree regarding how far utd have fallen but realistically that was a v v good performance against what is arguably the best team in europe right now, they managed to get forward and worry Bayern and despite all of Bayerns possession it was effectively 2 long shots and a volley. Im really not sure we could have done any better, in fact I think we would have been buried by them.
-
Im not sure he had much of a choice did he ? Fellaini aside it was a good defensive performance

Looking very able against bayern tonight
