You feeling ok TDD ? No presents under the tree ?

Im not sure its that straightforward, as I said before Messi's brilliance is exaggerated by the fact that the Barca team is soo good, certainly compared even to Madrid. Its all there for Messi, and my point being if Ronaldo and Messi swapped clubs we would be hailing Ronaldos brilliance, perhaps his arrogance doesnt help his cause either. Put it this way, Messi has never really shone as brightly for the argies, a team in which he is more an individual then a cohesive unit with him the focus, this is in contrast to Ronaldos displays at portugal and madrid, when he drags a team up to his standards. One thing is for sure though, we are seeing probably two of the best players ever, there is certainly nobody I have seen in the prem of his quality, and Messi's record is exceptional.
-
Its just people posturing I believe, there were a few bits off info from the training ground coming out at the beginning of his assesment, then there seemed to be a lockdown, you are going to get info coming out though, people around him know, the players probably know. I applaude the clubs effort to keep it schtum from some siort of strategical point of view ? But in reality if the media start digging itll come out.
-
The problem with comparing the two is ultimately because Barca make Messi that extra bit better, if you know what I mean ? Barca build the team around Messi and he is the hub, they are the best team in the world for a reason, their movement and passing is sublime and this comes from years of playing together as the same cohesive unit. Ronaldo plays for Real who instead of being a quality team are more a collection of quality players, and yes his workrate isnt as good but his skill with a ball at his feet, and physical attributes are better, also I dont see how his arrogance should affect the way we Look at his ability in general
-
Honestly believe Ronaldo is a better all round player, and if there positions were swapped and he wasnt such a pr?ck then he would be the one regarded as the better player. Better technique, flair and strength. All IMHO of course

If it wasnt Utd they would be going mental, why people cant be objective Ill never know, its quite pathetic really, similar to the way Redknapp and downing is crap etc etc I feel sorry that people cant put their hate to one side and actually make up their own mind.

Recall sharp ?? Really ? And Scott Dann ? If your pinning your survival hopes on those two we may aswell start playing in the champ after xmas

To me when he strikes the ball he is looking at RVP the whole time, he has struck it with his laces and TBH had no need to smash it clear, and lets face it he isnt going to come out afterwards and say he meant it is he ? Plus he is about two foot away, he knew it potentially could hit him at the very least, IMO he obv meant it and should get a ban.

Watch it again, he meant it. It was bang out of order, Fergies words were OTT but he is right in what he said.

And he flapped at atleast one cross, and nearly let the ball through his legs -
And his profile pic is a man taking a pompey badge out of the bin Strange

He wasnt good enough for the first team, and his contract was running down, Ince wanted first team football, they did well to get the sell on clause TBH.

Started doing plyometrics again, not too bothered building a massive upper body so cant be arsed with K bells. Did P90x ladt year, as well as my gym roitine, that got me in decent shape, doing INSANITY atm from beachbody, which is basically all HIIT, its great but damn it hurts. Started last week, the first plyo circuit I got through V proud but then the DOMs hit me the next 3 days, wow. Great workout though

Everyone to there own, personally I dont believe in all of that nonsense, it has been repeatedly defunked and the age old arguement that it still COULD be true is utter tosh, on the basis you could believe that a giant pair of testicles orbit the eart and just because we cant prove they ARENT there doesnt mean they are not. I love a bit of crimbo though, everyone in high spirits etc -
Really ? What you could do is ditch the bird altogether, then there is no risk
-
Probably not a bad shout ottery, we could ask for Lescott aswell, you know, to keep company

You should cook it upside down for last hour of cooking, and yeah bacon is a must.

Personally, I dont like turkey, Id rather go for the biggest chicken you can get, probably a rooster, to keep it moist ? Dont overcook it, and perhaps put some butter under the skin on top of the breast, do this by removing the skin from the meat gently by putting your fingers under the neck flap bit. Spuds ? Peel and place into hob with cold water, then heat water up, when the water is boiked they will be soft enough, whilst water is boiling chuck some goose fat into roasting tin and put oven to the hottest, when water bouled take out spuds, into collander and let them steam dry (approx 30-60 secs) rough them up on the edges by shaking about and cover in thin layer of flour, chuck into boiling fat and make sure each is covered in oil. Last 20 minutes of roasting mix up a mix of red wine vinegar, garlic oil and salt and pepper, chuck over roasties, they will be perfect. Asparagus is nice, bacon in leeks (dont like brussels), parsnips and honey, rosmary roasted carrots. Have a look online too, the big chefs usually have decent tips, and make sure you let the meat rest for 30 mins, itll prob get a little cold but the gravy will warm it back up and itll be moister. MAKE SURE you nail the gravy, this is a must, use some meat and veg juices with the stock.

Puyol is already about 34 ?!? -
Is it still the same old missions over and over ? Go here kill them etc etc ?

I personally think we missed a trick with Michu, I know we were in for him but our interest cooled apparantly and this was after J Rod signed so it wasnt that, I wonder if there is legs in the stories of seeing Rickie go, I did hear strong rumours not to hedge my bets that he would stay, nothing concrete though. As for Michu, 2.2m would havegot us a younger, quicker and more technical version of Rickie IMO, he would have slotted straight into our system. Dont get me wrong, Im not asking for Rickie to leave, he has been prolific for us, but a situation that saw us get Michu AND still be 3-4m net in the black would have softened the blow.

And most dont know why they hate, they just think that they should, which all in all is funnier

He will be a top top keeper and if we didnt need reinforcements elsewhere Id welcome the club spending that sort of cash, we do however need reinforcements elsewhere and 10 mill will go a long way towards plugging some gaps.
