Football Manager 2011 Release date

I'll look for a torrent i expect -
TBF we are missing Lallana, Barnard, options from the bench and a fully firing Lambert. Which is a pretty big issue. But yes, we are missing Lallana like George Micheal misses the sound of his own farts
-
TBF Rickie is a f*cking quality player at this level but not entirely indefensible. He isn't firing this season and is, looking from the outside anyways, appearing injured. For this reason i would drop him (if we ever get cover for him) if atleast to take the pressure off. But to say to sell him and call him a one season wonder is pretty laughable really.

Acceptable multi-tasking whilst driving?
Smirking_Saint replied to Arizona's topic in Motoring Forum
I hate motorcyclists, the way you lot drive at times makes me think i don't need to be texting etc to kill one of you. No offence to you personally St Landrew, i used to move aside for you lot all the time. All i get these days is the arrogance, not thanking and blatently getting infront of me at the lights, even when it was almost impossible to do so. Now if i see one behind me on the motorway in a Q of traffic i don't bother. -
Mental, totally f*cking mental

I think they have to work though

We are not performing at the moment, the players are off colour and our season has not started in any way to an acceptable level. I have been thinking about it, i know people are blaming it on Pardew, this could and could not be the reason but also look at the big picture. Our chairman, the man with a passion, with the cash and who's 'dream' was sold to many of this players is no longer with us (RIP). This must have a massive and destabilizing affect on the club and everyone associated with it, no matter what the Liebherr family have said publically or privately. Imagine if you were one of the players, you don't know for sure whether the dream is still there, how much longer it will last etc etc. And that will have an effect if the shock doesn't. Pardew his sacking, for whatever reason you have heard, believe or is the truth. Whether it was completely out of the blue and was performance based or whether it was a serious incident. Both would have had a massive effect on the players, in situation A there would be a lot of players upset with his leaving and so underperforming. Situation B then there would be players upset with what happened, many feel disrespected, let down etc and will probably be pockets who were not directly effected and are upset with the leaving of Pardew....so underperforming and perhaps even have splits in the dressing room. The Waigo/Antonio factor We miss pace, we miss change, we miss the extra men. We all know this i won't bang on about in but we had long enough to sort it. Pre-Season Not enough big players had enough game time, not enough matches played. Not enough players brought it. Straight forward again really. Injuries/Suspensions Last and by no means least, injuries and suspensions. They have hardly been kind, i am pretty sure if Liverpool were without Gerrard, Kuyt/Ngog (2nd striker ? They haven't really got one but you get the idea) and Torres was playing injured they would struggle. We are missing so many of the players that got us goals last year. All this together is a pretty disasterous start, i really hope that we can get back into the swing of things quickly and get our heads in order to really begin our campaign. All i know is that Adkins has a lot of work to do, but i think he is the man to turn it around.

Jesus Dune you positively hated him during mental post June/July. Now its only the ticket tax ??? I think he still needs to be more fan facing at times, and atleast communicate a little better, i don't think he is the devil, just the fact that because nobody knows his reasoning people make their own opinions, and this added to the old hangers on that speak of him as the devil and pose it as fact just adds to stir everything up.

No idea, you only have to sit in the Northam for any more than 10 minutes to realise some of us are a moaning, moronic bunch of tarts. That said, in my time as a Saints fan i have come to realise that we never do anything the easy way and you can always bet on Saints to f*ck things up.

Time to accept that it is unlikely we will go up
Smirking_Saint replied to Thedelldays's topic in The Saints
It's because win ratio's are trotted out a lot and don't really mean too much. They are very much situational, i would imagine Liverpool have always had a decent win ratio for a few years, however they have never won the premiership. Pardew did ok, if i am honest i don't think he was a great manager but i did want him to get extra time to what he did, but then we don't know what sparked the dismissal and he never really set the world alight in pre-season or his early games, in fact we looked exactly how we did now, played some good football but couldn't put the ball away. Whatever the reason for AP's sacking we have Adkins now, and i am confident he will be good enough to get us promoted (admitidly i was confident Pardew could last season but he failed). In fact, i would be confident, with the team and money we have, that anyone could get us promoted from this league. The real test for me will be from the championship and upwards, and only a manager who is able to work with everyone at the club will be able to achieve that. Edit - As for Antonio and Papa, yes i do think they were average players (papa was better than Antonio) thats not to say we are not missing them, we are, we miss pace, direct running and more importantly options. My point however was not that they are not good enough Doddsi but that for Antonio 500k is a maximum limit for his value. -

Joey Deacon could have got us an average win ratio of 53% with the team and cash we had last year. So for me that makes it a null and void arguement. I honestly think it will be a massive struggle to win the league, which was my hope but just getting promoted isn't beyond the realms of impossibility. There are no teams showing top form, last year there was Norwich, Leeds, Millwall. With Charlton and Swindon up there who this season have been severely weakened. -
Yeah, as best mates yeah ?? DO you reckon they will listen ?

Respect and tolerance for me is earned, and what with the Pope and the rest of his crew's insistance on continually repeating his bigoted views from an outdated religion then i will not give him any respect. Let me make myself clear, i am not slamming christianity, i myself do not practice it as i take to life with more of a scientific and thought out approach. But i would never slam anyone for their religion, i will however respond with my views if someone tries to tell me i am wrong. Lets be clear, the christian religion is more flawed then scientific learnings if that arguement speaks out.

We are not a mile away from the top of the table and noone is showing any true signs of form ATM We will be ok this season, i still think we will be promoted. POLL mods ?? -
Ugly inside i think, i think he is still banned. He was f*cking annoying at times but i did have the odd chuckle due to his posts. Like a dog with a bone he was at times lol.

http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/staticFiles/6c/56/0,,10280~153196,00.pdf With his outstanding depth of knowledge on the subject i reckon he would be a shoe in for this job.
-
Has to be Shniederlin, playing far below his level for me, if played the right way and amoungst players at his standard he would be phenomenal. Also, i reckon Fonte could do a job for a lower premier team, so in a way he is probably our best player, how we ever pulled off his signing i will never know.

We have played the hoof ball for about 5 years now. Briefly changed during the dutch duo's experiment that looked pretty but was exceptionally toothless. My guess is it will take time to get the players out of this routine. We need to get on track quickly though, we need competition from the bench (why this wasn't addressed pre-season is beyond me) and start to kick on up the league, nobody is showing exceptional form so far but we need to get involved before anyone finds their pace.

Surely it would make more sense to do the exploratory in the off season and if something is wrong then fix it. I mean the injury is bad enough now but imagine if we lost him during the season run in or even an end of season playoff campaign ?
