Also though Punch was full of running and looked good, second half he fell away though, perhaps a fitness thing, as did Schniederlin. You could tell the players lacked ideas of what to do, the problem is both LB and DC are small AND lack pace which means they primarily have to play of a big man IMO and don't work together.

My thoughts exactly, we need rickie or a tall striker as backup

Thats what Plymouth won it with We had 2 Another day we would have got on the end of the crosses or the plymouth defence wouldn't have got the blocks in on time thats all. I am going to finish on this note Am i dissapointed ? Yes. Does AP need to find a plan b ? Yes but for that we need rickie or a rickie type player. Was there positives ? Yes, we defended well (apart from a mistake) and played some good football, hit some good crosses and looked threatening. We were just a bit toothless today, but last year we were 2nd top scorers so it will come. Rickie would have had a field day today. -
I am going to ignore your trolling now

Not really, i reckon you ask anyone that actually understands the game of football they will tell you the same. Another day we would have rocked them. -
Not on this thread, was on about his past life as Stanley

Lol Hello kettle, meet pot. Anyways i must just not understand the game as well as i thought as i thought we played quite well, just lacked that final bite up front.

If we play like that week in week out we will be promoted, to say we will be relegated like that is laughable, another day and we would have got on the end of the crosses and put them away, Lambert will be back soon and hopefully a proper replacement in case he is out again. Apart from the goal we defended well, we passed well and had excellent delivery, Plymouth got away with it, defended well but on another day the blocks perhaps wouldn't have happened. It didn't go our way today no more no less, watch the floodgates open at MK if we play like that. -
He made countless crosses and you pick up on two mistakes, yet you clamour for Antonio who consitently crossed it behind, strange, but outlines your lack of footballing knowledge i suppose. But hey, don't let the football get in the way of your racist comments and prawn sarnies

TBF we didn't do that bad in the second, Plymouth won due to a mistake from the off, which is dissapointing, as our build up play and delivery was very good, along with the stone wall defending by Plymouth and there you go, we were unlucky. If we play like that every week we will be fine -
Thought Dickson looked very good, his delivery was fantastic

Thats a first -
Lol, back to the norm then, if it isn't everything bad about cortese it is the doom and gloom of losing one game.
-
1m for a twirl is a bit OTT IMO, i think you will get one cheaper, i am ITK
-
TBF our wide play and delivery was very very good, we just couldn't put them away, Hammond had two headers that should have at least hit the target, with a big man up front we would probably have had at least one. But lets not let that get in the way of a good panic

Sometimes i struggle i really do. First half we dominated, played good football and hit some good crosses, we lacked the hold up man up front, this will be rectified soon. -
If we win 45 games we will be promoted

Its a marathon Alpine FFS not a sprint, cliche maybe but a true one. Manure never start a season well either, one loss isn't a disaster, there are a lot of positives, we played well, passed well just played the wrong balls to the small strikers. Lambert will be back soon and/or another striker, lets not panic eh ? We have the ability and showed it today. -
Rory Fallons set up shows exactly why you need a big man to play off of

Pretty much what Arizona said, we never win on TV or on the first day so hey ho. Get ready for the suicide troop to begin slamming the season.

Or its not as bad as you think Somewhere in the middle is the teams actual ability. We played well, we dominated, another day we would have had 4 or 5. But we need another striker with height, 3 strikers on the books is not good enough
