I'd take Finnan and Koroma (He was always a little starlet on FM lol)

Done one a little while ago, thats 500 quid i could have spent elsewhere

yeah, pretty much why i don't want to build loads and loads of muscle. When i was at College i was more toned and had an athletic physique, never a hulking one. That is what i want to get back, i understand it takes a while, but i am not silly, if i build loads of bulk i know i won't keep up the work. But, hey ho, the slimming comes first, did my first real weigh in today, and want to lose at least 4 lbs in 2 weeks, that is my minimum target, i given my self a relative day off from exercise and diet on Sundays (like Stu) but have told myself if i don't hit the minimum than i don't get the day off. (2 lbs a week) 4 lbs may be too low but i don't know what i should be working off, if i find it easy i'll push it up.

The first one was amazing, this is just an inadequate cover IMO. Heard the original the other night in a bar in Birmingham, got me in the mood for World Cup, along with the new Carlesburg ad.

The Official Summer Transfers and HCDAJFU Thread

Cox would be a great signing but TBH unless he is a like for like with Rickie i don't think a striker is a priority (not that i would turn down an approach for Cox) We desperately need a midfielder and a RB. That is IMO our priority. Any thing else is a bonus. -
And then there was this one

Soares made a name for himself young, then didn't really live up to the hype. Never really made it at Stoke. And i believe he is an attacking midfielder but all in all has not scored too many goals. Harper or Surman would be my choices in the CM role, or even Racon, he seems a tidy little player to me. Unless Jon Paul Mckgovern or Sigurdsson come up. Or even Nicky Bailey ?? Great little CM, keep him away from Pens though -

You don't know who the manager wants, nor do you know that he is not interested in Surman, who in my opinion he would be mad not to be. As for the putting the trust in the expert, i will echo what VFTT said, who ?? Who are these players ?? Surman looked pretty good for us, and very good at Bournemouth in league 1, he would easily fit in our squad. Or have you heard Kaka is looking for a way out of Real ?? -

Name a better player than Surman, realistically ?? That we could target ?? That, if reports are correct is being released ?? Considering he is clearly not good enough !!!!! -
Meh, so if we don't get the World Cup in 2018, go for it again in 2026 or so, saints would have a 50k+ seater stadium by then, and would hold back to back european championships
-
Apart from saints. Though £40 is f*cking steep, i have noticed (too late mind) that this seasons are half price on the online site, but they don't have a large, which is pretty annoying. But may buy a cheap england shirt
-
How close to real is the england one ?? Not going to contract smallpox am i ?
-
What do you know then ?? Or are you giving it the big one ??
-
Whos wrong ?? Who are you ?? Has he signed yet ?? Will this be this seasons................................ i hope not
-
Hope you have not confused me with the big mans PT !!?? He would probably outrun me ATM........No offence phil

Why do we have two threads on the same thing ?

I completely agree with these 3 qoutes. We definately have played better in the 4-5-1 formation and have controlled games, it is a shame for Barnard and even connelly, but thats the way it is, no time for sentiment. And that leads me on to Surman, it would NOT be sentiment, he was a great, committed little player at CCC level and flexible to boot. He did have fitness issues but this can be worked on, look at Rickie !! He could definately do a job at league 1 and is probably a better player than Hammond TBH. I do wonder with some people at times, some of you do realise we are still in league one don't you ?? For this level Surman is more than we need. -
Figueroa's for Wigan this year was better IMO http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nVd__hZfOQo

Rather take him than Heskey

I do to, Weirdly i had similar thoughts to colbury, lately there seems to be many many knee injuries. Growing up you never really heard of knee injuries like you do now and they seem to be so much more common. I know loads of people that have done it, in my football team this season alone there was 3 serious knee injuries this year, two ACL, one cartialage. I re-snapped mine last year and i know of 3 other people that have done it. Also a guy i do my degree with, there are only 9 of us, and he has snapped his ACL as well. Must be something in the water ?? My consultant/Surgeon was Mr Fox and Mr Hartwright BTW, Mr Fox will no doubt carry out the op again.

was sort of my point :smt012

We have been crying out for another decent CM, he certainly meets that criteria. He is a saint and will fight for the shirt and fight to restore his name. -
Why ?? He is a good passer of the ball, versatile and always put the effort in. He always looked good for me, even last year when the whole team went backwards he still looked better than the rest. He would be a first 11 player IMO. And as you say, he is a saint.
