Jaidi looked slow and overweight on Saturday and shouldn't be starting IMO. Seaborne's distribution was poor in the first half but he was winning almost everything in the air. I think AP must have told him to stop hoofing at half time, as in the second half he was bringing the ball down for Fonte until a loose pass went to a Bournemouth player and he lost confidence. Could form a good partnership with Fonte this season.

First half there was good movement and sharp passing going forward. We were forced to play it wide as plymouth were strong centrally and we lacked height inthe middle when crosses came in. Despite looking good going forward, Plymouth looked like they had the potential to break well which they showed in the second half. We were terrible after the break, disorgonised and lacking bite. Schneiderlin in particular looked scared of getting injured so was pulling away from a lot. The mix up between Jairo and butterfield for the goal was embarrassing with no communication between the two of them. When lallana came on the crowd lifted and saints decided to play a bit. In the last 15 mins we opened up the defence a few times showing we have the ability to do so. For me this game showed us what we already know. We need back up for lambert. We need a winger as puncheon and dickson weren't prepared to take on the full backs and we need a centre midfielder who can break down opposition and get stuck in.
