  1. So Brentford away will be an evening match.
  2. I'd like Rotherham or Luton if possible..
  3. I think there's enough room on the shirt to have as many badge designs as you want, perhaps grouped together across the chest in chronological order, left to right. Personally, I would like the shirt to have no sponsor across the chest for that season ie. a purely SFC shirt.
  4. ron's in town dark but dry not me, theeweather COYR
  5. I always use google satellite as you can zoom in to the area. http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&t=h&utm_campaign=en_GB&utm_medium=ha&utm_source=en_GB-ha-emea-gb-sk-dd&utm_term=map

    Twilight

Why do you think I moved from Block 5 to 37? At least I'm upwind now.
  7. It was no surprise that the team who had the lion's share of the play in each half was kicking with the wind and rain to their backs.
  8. Something I've noticed since goalkeepers started wearing comedy clown gloves is the amount of balls that are not deflected to safety, but stopped dead because of the extra grip and then roll back in into play in a dangerous position. KDs penalty save was excellent and it was so unlucky to deflect back the way it did. However, in that time we should have got at least one defender somewhere near Hoolahan. The second, well I would have thought 'soft hands' from KD and it would have stuck.
  9. At the start of the season I was all for ignoring the cup competitions. However, I'm torn at the moment. Any chance of the play-offs, although not extinct, is in the balance now. In order to keep some momentum to the season and keep the interest of fans and the crowds up, I am starting to think that the cups are a way of doing this, and, if we do well, will breed confidence and also keep the profile of the club high with a view to attracting better players for next season. If DC is an example, then according to his post-match interview, everyone wants to play as much as possible.
  10. Apart from Bobby Stokes' immortal moment, my most memorable goal is Mick's run, shot and goal from the halfway line against Coventry way back when.
  11. I thought Mick Channon looked well, certainly lost some weight around the face, back to that 'craggy look'. Unfortunately because of the crap PA system (a few speakers at the back of the stands would sort it), I could'nt make out much of what he was saying, but great to see him nonetheless.
  12. I know. That happened right below me. I could see what was going to happen and was shouting 'leave him Lloyd, leave him' as he had run the guy very close to the by line and any cross I think would have been blocked. But no.... However, cracking game, honours even. As ever, some things done well, others to be worked on. Great days, thoroughly enjoying this season. Going to all the games I really feel a part of our rebirth, fully appreciating the achievements of Saints since July 8th. We're not firing on all cylinders for all the game just yet. A few more pieces of the jigsaw to do yet and a few more cobwebs to be blown out of the metaphorical Saints exhaust pipe and we'll be purring in the fast lane. Off to Hartlepool for some further real first hand understanding of MY TEAM!!! COYR.
  13. Ahem... http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=18031 But happy to share as I shall be off early to the match.:smt008 COYR 4-1
  14. Apart from that club being cruelly robbed of the FA Cup one year by a player who was a million miles offside. :smt040
  15. 4-1 Saints in the p*ssin' rain!! COYR
  16. Tbh, I have never knowingly told the truth.
  17. Pubs with 'Good Food sold here' signs outside. Oh No I'll not be going in there because, you see, I am looking for some crap food on this occasion!!
  18. Yes, the Islands of Britain tour 2010. IOW Burgh Island (when the tide's out) Scillys Orkney (midnight match without foodlights) St.Kilda Lindisfarne
  19. The Cramps - Elvis F***ing Christ.
  20. People who don't look where I'm going.
  21. Yes, we were kind of taken for granted by the club in guaranteeing the sale of 2000 straightaway. Still I think we'll make that comfortably. If Northampton were better at football they would have more fans and a fuller ground and we wouldn't get so many tickets.
  22. Well where then? I am at a total loss.....
  23. ?Brighton?
  24. IMO you are the stereotypical intelligent, provocative poster all chatroom sites like these require to make them interesting and worthwhile.
  25. Just watched it and there is definitely a 'personal agenda' undercurrent from him.
