I'm just so wholly fed up with the politics and division that all I want to see is for Pinnacle to secure the takeover, install whatever manager they see fit and prepare for the new season so we can hit the ground running. He will undoubtedly attract the supporters to attend in great numbers and similarly would attract players to stay or come here ! The feel good factor would be very great indeed ! However I still think there is more chance of Madonna giving a blow job to Gordon Brown in the middle of The Mall than KK coming here as manager.

That is my problem.. As I have posted before - generosity should always bring gratitude but not necessarily favour! If he is there on merit for what he can intelligently add to the board, then thats a matter for the new board and I will reluctantly accept that ! But I would still have preferred him not to have been offered a position of leadership at the club. Its not the wholly fresh start I was hoping for.

No its not the worst thing in the world but is nonetheless disappointing to those of us who wanted a complete clean sweep of all our failed past !

Did not cut it as a manager with us but nevertheless he was a thoroughly decent bloke and I wish him well.

Too much of a glory hunter than somebody who will graft with limited resources. We need somebody capable certainly - But also really hungry and commtted to our cause !

He has had plenty of opportunity to show us that he can "cut it" and has dismally failed IMO... No loss !

Ah, the time when we could ( or rather he could) **** money up the wall eh! With all the riches at his disposal at the time, he still failed to get us promoted by poor purchases and a criminal neglect of our defence ( which proved our achilles heel and a chief reason why we were'nt promoted). Our best players that season were Jones, Baird and Bale who were already at the club when Georgie arrived ! Once he missed that opportunity and cash had to be reined in, he lost the plot/interest/whatever and we sank further into the mire... He was the worst since Branfoot IMO.

"You really got me going" for a moment ! Pity Bale is'nt still here as "Apeman" might have been a good option.

So will we see "Lets Go Lola" T-Shirts in the club shop now !

I wish him well ! I think in another time and with better circumstances he would have been a decent coach. He gave a damn and was not in the same crap class as idiot George !
