Depends if Inter are on top of their game, I think a 2-0 win for Barcelona is very realistic, which would be enough to take them through

If some of the conspiracy theorists are to be believed, some arrangement to eventually wind the club up and get flats built on Fratton Park?

How many are changing their vote from last time?
JackFrost replied to View From The Top's topic in The Lounge
I voted Labour in '92 and '97, Even after 13 years of a clueless, sleazy government they haven't been as bad as the Tories were. '01 & '05 - I didn't vote 2010 - They've changed the constituency boundaries round my area so it's no longer going to be a Tory landslide round here. Voting Lib Dem just to keep the Tories out. -
The BNP aren't racist? Tell that to Richard Edmonds, a senior BNP official who told the Guardian in 1993 that "The BNP is 100% racist" LOL The BNP formed in the late 80s I think when they split from the National Front. Their just a neo Nazi organisation who got a few votes from racist nonces, protest votes from areas of high ethnic immigration and garnished their racist bile in centre-right PR, creating a bandwagon for a few more people to jump on. Plenty of racist parties out there, the British movement, the British People's Party, hell the National Front themselves are still active. The BNP are just the media's favourite to set up and knock back down over and over again. The BNP's biggest Achilles heel is themselves, half of their candidates can't string 2 sentences together and Griffin made himself a laughing stock on QT. The whole "BNP on QT" was practically a set-up which the BNP fell for. The far-right fascists/neo Nazis haven't had anywhere near as much success in the UK as they have on the continent.

LOL that'a brilliant. Our company gets the odd irritating marketing call, number seems to have increased over the last few months. My mate has a habit of playing the audio of youtube videos down the phone to them. The last one this daft bint got a Barry White song played to her, gradually increasing in volume. She went on for about 5 mins before she realised it was a wind up and not just background noise. He's thinking of investing in a sound effects CD

I think that depends on whether anyone wants to build flats on Fratton Park.
-
Nope, he's pointing out that next season there are going to be a lot of teams getting 11 men behind the ball against us and want the Saints fans to stay loud and supportive throughout, especially when we're trying and trying to break through a bus that the opposing team have parked in front of their goal. HTH

Lens have given them permission to play him without incurring any cost
-
Davis beats Higgins 13-11 and is in the Quarter Finals  likely to play Martin Gould, as long as Neil Robertson doesn't mount an extraordinary comeback
-
I don't think anyone in their right mind would dare lend them a penny.

Sounds like that's just a way of ensuring Pompey can clear their footballing debts before the start of next season, so their allowed to compete in the Championship, whilst St John's Ambulance etc. will have to wait. So their guaranteed an income next season. Or am I getting the wrong end of the stick somewhere?

6-2 up against Higgins after the first session. Play resumes at half 2 today

No he didn't Prescott is and has always been a 'buffoonish' character in the same vein as Boris Johnson. If Prescott got any 'cred' it was because it was funny seeing a buffoonish politician punching someone in the face under the watchful eyes of millions of people. Nothing to do with the egg thrower being bigger and younger than him, Prescott's been a highly skilled boxer ever since he got trained in the Merchant Navy. Cameron isn't a buffoon, he's a Conservative PR man. He's far more likely to either 'laugh it off' or 'rise above that level"

An argument myself and my boss had If you sent 3 packages to a UK destination and you sent 1 on a pre 10am delivery service and the other 2 on a much cheaper 24 hour service, as their going to and being sorted for the same destination is it likely all 3 would be delivered at the same time - before 10am? Personally I thought they'd arrive at the depot at the same time, then the pre 10 package would be separated from the other two, stuck in a different van which is delivering all of the local pre 10 packages. Then the other two would arrive later in the day, on a different van with a different driver

Parachute payments?

that would confirm his "legend" status

Maybe not and there may well be a relevant link someone could find as it was a 30 second google job, but I vaguely suspected (and I think GM mentioned it a couple of pages back) that HMRC were within their power to impose further financial penalties for the continued non-payment, thus ballooning the tax and increasing their CVA percentage. I may be talking complete rubbish but can anyone ITK confirm if this is possible?

http://customs.hmrc.gov.uk/channelsPortalWebApp/channelsPortalWebApp.portal?_nfpb=true&_pageLabel=pageVAT_ShowContent&id=HMCE_CL_001501&propertyType=document If AA did try and balloon the debt so HMRC just so happened to be under the 25%, could '2 play at that game'?. See section 3.1 for example "Any penalty that we (HMRC) impose will be a percentage of the tax evaded. In law, the penalty can be 100% of the agreed or alleged tax which has been underdeclared."

LOL since when has any politician answered any question
-
SSN reporting Lens have given Pompey permission to play Aruna Dindane permission for the rest of the season including the cup final

Hendry losing 8-7 to 18 year old Crucible debutant Zhang Anda
