-
or one for old Roy at Palace.....
-
Please please let this be true. He does follow Leeds on Twitter, one of very few clubs he does actually. So going by that if he leaves and it’s not for Leeds he’s going to Barcelona....or Coventry you heard it here first
-
Really? Where is the positive stuff then and on what topic ? Cos it ain’t on kit, transfers, owners, players, atmosphere, fans, catering........
-
it was, Spurs only showed up after 80 mins.....barely at that.
-
yeah, he’s since put a message “guys it’s only a jersey” it may well be Charlie but on a scale of 1 - 10 in the dumb stakes that’s right up there
-
You’ve got that right
-
Brussels - best fkin place for him off with all those European yobbos
-
but it’s the close season, you must of been here before during the summer, this is it until the pre-season at least
-
Absolute farce to have two players missing for a meaningless warm up game whilst the opponents aren’t hampered in the same way. It will be a hollow victory for Somerset and a hollow defeat for Hampshire if that’s how it pans out. Crazy

Indeed and why do they not put the kit design to this supporters panel thing they have set up - show them a few designs or get suggestions ? its not bloody difficult
-
well yeah absolutely
-
what do you suggest doing with red and white vertical stripes ? It is what it is, they are either wider or they are thinner but end of the day Southampton wear red and white stripes. You want to make them horizontal instead ?
-
When does this deal with UA as shirt suppliers end ? Their Saints branded leisure and training wear is bloody expensive as well
-
He is involved
-
Well sorry but I dont dislike the home kit. Love the away yellow and gray one.
-
well said. All said and done it lasts for one season, its not like the 70's/80's when a new design shirt lasted three or four seasons. Like everything else these days its almost instantly disposable after what ? 10 months ?
-
yeah bit embarrassing for Sky too as they fell right into that “best fans in the whole world” trap......they didn’t look it when all that was kicking off, classy really classy stuff.
-
sit down with fans and ask them what they think ? oh no, no, no we can’t be having that, far too sensible
-
wheres that video of TCWTB and his mates singing about Pompey going up while we are going down? Wrong, wrong, fkin wrong
-
we have had buttons on shirts before, the Sanderson sponsored shirt from 96 springs to mind. Buttons aren’t new, niether are collars with them
-
That’s ok actually
-
Oh it has a whiff of intrigue about it for sure but there are a fair few guns being jumped at present. They are paying the club money for the honour of advertising them, not the other way round.
-
Am I missing something here ? Are they not merely a sponsor ? Therefore unlike say, oh i dont know, an owner, they cant actually take any money or anything (except the ****) out of the club, they dont have a say on how the club is run or anything (like Virgin media didnt) like that. Dont they purely pay the club a sum of money either upfront or over a three year period to advertise their name on the front of a shirt ? If they dont cough up the contract is null and void and the club, with a degree of egg on the face, look for another sponsorship deal. So why the cries of "foul, this stinks" ? If it does its not the end of the world, its not like we have some dodgy owner........
