At what point does winning every game get tedious?

It's beyond belief. -

What was going on with Koeman having a blanket on his lap all afternoon then........at least that's what it looked like from The Kingsland -

funny you should say that, I was a kid back when that was the case and through the bad times I always used to wish I had been older in the early eighties to appreciate it better. Well now I can really appreciate what's going on cos this run has been one of my highlights as a Saints fan for over 35 years ! -
City haven't been brilliant away from home for over a season, Arsenal, well you never know which one you are gonna face , they are like a split personality, and Man Utd ? Hardly strike fear anymore do they ?
-
Better than I could have hoped, well done QPR
-
So would I. I expect their great managers like Shankly and Paisley are spinning in their graves at that team selection. disgraceful, resting players in a Champions League match ? I cannot believe Liverpool fans are happy about this at all.
-
we want them to stay as many points as possible behind us. Chelsea and City will finish 1st and 2nd, we can aim for third though
-
Jamie Carragher said on Monday Night Football that we have no chance of finishing top 6 cos United, Arsenal, Liverpool, Spurs and Everton will all come good. Thats good enough for me, Jamie knows best

Last player to be transferred from Southampton to Man City?
beatlesaint replied to kwsaint's topic in The Saints
Didn't they buy one of the Mills brothers from us ? Matt Mills is it ? other than that Phil Boyer and Graham Baker in the early eighties are the last ones I can think of too. -
this guy has basically screwed them up by making too many changes and losing their best player. It always takes at least a dozen games to get so many changes settled in to a team.......oh, wait, no that's not true anymore is it ?

I would love to know what Lovren, Lallana and to a lesser extent Rickie think when they hear our results and look at the league table. Not the bull crap for the press, Lallana's "delighted for them" quote from the other week but what they actually think, they must talk about it in training etc.
-
Yes I agree, they don't seem to have worked out he has a great football brain and is much better than just being at the end of one of Stevie G's oh so bloody marvellous 40 yd hit and hope passes !
-
totally agree, my sentiments exactly.
-
Good that we have no mid week match, chance for players to shake off the fatigue that three tough matches will have bought.

Pochettino asks Levy to sign Jay Rodriguez
beatlesaint replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
I cannot believe Levy would sign a player for big money who has been out for 6 months with a major injury before knowing and seeing he is as good as he was before that injury. I would also like to believe that Jay feels he owes Southampton for nursing him back to health but my confidence in footballers having any sort of loyalty or scruples was badly hit during the summer. -
Because from the mid 70s for about 15 years it truly was......but you would have to be old like me to know that
-
As stated above Harry doesn't do much of the training. I would be asking him what all his mates, Jordan and Bond in particular, actually do and why just one of them is incapable of getting the players fit !

CONFIRMED: Rodriguez ruptures ACL - out for SIX months
beatlesaint replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
RK appears to agree too more importantly -
Totally agree. Be interesting to see if the old Harry Houdini line comes out again......

Now is the time to say show our sincere gratitude

They appear to have all done us a favour by leaving. Who would have thought it back in Black July !! -
Club and that will never change.
-
well your summary is brilliant !
-
Are you sure you didn't watch it ?
-
So not getting into your club side every week because there are better players at that club is more beneficial than playing against these better than England can pick players every week in The Premiership then ? jesus, if he really believes that then what hope is there for the national side or players outside the so called big clubs to develop ? They can't all play for the top clubs, especially when they are attracting the biggest names in World football to play for them !!
