Very unlikely.....unless you think Pearson could have saved us from administration.
-
As usual you are correct !!!!

Incredible journalism. So who is buying him considering their main headline is about AP about to be given the chop ? Beggars belief, it really does.

That steward who stands outside The Kingsland/Chapel corner turnstile. He's about 6 foot 8 inches high

The funny thing about the "Saints decline to comment" bit on the Echo website is that the story was put up at 8.26am.............. So, who the hell was at St Marys at that time of morning to comment then ?

Les Reed = Pardew's No. 2 at Charlton.
-
No they are back now.......but splashing this story across their back page will not have helped them with any exclusives i wouldn't have thought. The Daily Mail have had it in for us for a long time now. Any chance to stir and there they are !

Strachan - keep the players -sack the coaches!

Bet he hasn't let Pendry go tho has he ? -
No quotes, just filler I expect. I wouldn't expect NC to come out and deny it, he hasn't pandered to any press story so far......except for banning the Echo of course !
-
My, that sounds familiar

I was looking at the other leagues points tally too. Annoying isn't it ?

Ok lets look at this. Apart from Martin at centre back where were we seriously under strength ? Connolly replaced Lambert. Connolly is an ex international striker so thats hardly a bad swap. James came in for Wotton.....nuff said. lots of people were shouting for that to happen when Morgan was suspended. Mills came in for Harding....he has done that before and kept his place when Dan was fit again so no weakness there. Oh, we had a couple of kids on the bench, who never came on ! Sorry but I fail to see what the problem is.

Its not actually. Their Chairman was on SSN the other day saying despite promotion they would have to sell to balance the books. Having said that without the baggage yeah, be good back up for Rickie.....but with his history no thanks.

Not when there is nothing to play for you numpty.

I believe that was an observation that was made about him before we signed him.

As Jeff Stelling sarcastically commented it was Avram doing his Winston Churchill....difference was his version was sad, pathetic and cringeworthy.

Just out of interest when do you consider it right for the manager to have a look at a youngster and some fringe players whose futures are at stake/ in question in a competitive match situation then ?
-
CM, CB, RB and a Lambert type player would be the 3 or 4 he is talking about then, presuming he keeps Papa and/or Antonio.
-
Well thats Connolly down as one he is keeping then - only 5 more to guess at !
-
What happened to Rickie ? Injured ?
-
In fairness we hardly had a team then. That was, in effect, one of our pre-season games at the start of the season. We lost it in the first 10 matches, the little blip when the new players were settling in during January didnt help but that was always going to happen when you bring more than one or two players into a team.

If Thomas would accept reduced wages I would be inclined to keep him, especially if Perry does go.

I come from niether Bournemouth or Southampton but live in Bournemouth (only through marriage). And I'm sorry Damen, it is a dump. Give me Southampton any day of the week. If you think its a nicer town I suggest you wander around Bournemouth town centre on your own one night and see how lovely it is then. I felt safer walking the streets of New York City than I did Old Christchurch Road !!

Unless you are hoping to get 50p for Antony Pulis I reckon you are in the wrong forum

Sat next to his Dad at a Cup game at St Marys at the start of the season and he said Wade was offered to Saints a few years ago by his agent. They were very interested until Lowe was told it would cost £1 million to get him here, then the interest vanished !! He said that if he did come back this way to play it would more likely be as a player/coach role helping out his old mate Eddie Howe at Bournemouth.
