I dont really understand your logic here. You are presumably saying that Connolly is a better player than Barnard (which is IMHO true) and if fit he will play more than Barnard, but in the next breath you are getting rid of Connolly. Why ?

I dont see anywhere in that Sky article that suggests we have even spoken to him yet. He is waiting to speak to us yes, but hasn't as yet from what I can read.

Dont hold your breath waiting then. NC said in that Solent interview he did a few weeks back that ML simply comes to games as a fan and leaves NC and his team to get on with it. If you do get a statement on the first season it will be from NC, not ML.

I was wondering what had happened to the "transparency" that NC spoke of when he baecame Chairman. This is a golden chance to clear a few things up which I thought Monday morning would bring. Seemingly not.

My missus watched that Over The Rainbow show about picking a Dorothy for the West End show. She informed me on Thursday that the bookies had stopped taking bets on a girl called Jenny and asked what it meant. ML does not make statements, we havent heard from him all season. So now we are supposed to believe he has come out and said he is not happy ! As he lives in Switzerland and wasnt at the game yesterday who has he told ? Have Solent got a reporter outside his front door ?

Although a very good player for us most of the time - not in the season we were relegated though - he was never good enough to be called world class.

I thought he looked very handy, especially in this League, looked ok going forward and could defend.......which are two qualitites that our right backs have struggled to master this season. Pity he was injured for most of it, his experience as well was very good for the younger players. Having said that, yeah we should be able to do better, but thats no disrespect to Murty.

I cannot believe ANY club, with an allocation of 25,000 for an FA Cup Final are struggling to sell out. That is pathetic. Best fans in the world ? Please, please pundits and commentators alike wake up and stop shoving that particular crumb of bull**** down our throats !
