Perhaps she is showing that for all her family history with SFC she is just a supporter who shares the same views as the rest of us on the march. A woman who was bought up with her father's mantra about not taking anything out of the club that you cannot put back in. Your obsession with slagging Mary Corbett off at every opportunity, for someone who loves to take the moral high ground, is somewhat amusing and perplexing. Its a pity a few more didnt have that same set of standards that Mary had ingrained in her isnt it ? Askham and Lowe to name but two !!!

and in fairness, despite him not always being whiter than white in the past it is hard to argue with his sentiments. At least he recognises that the targets should be Askham and Richards etc. They are the ones who need to withdraw their support for Mr Ego and his little toad.

Ok, you dont buy them not working with Lowe, your view, fair enough. But you would have to concede we dont have the money to pay them anything like a decent salary then surely ?

There is....but they - 1. would cost money for one 2. and have to work with Lowe for another. So if we aren't screwed with point 1 we sure as hell are with point 2 !!!

Nope....still hasnt got the decency to reply and i doubt very much he will.

In fairness Mary Corbett had openly admitted it was a mistake not to have them checked out properly, but what could she have done even if she was unhappy with them ? She was only on the Football Club board, not the PLC, and Wilde bought them in, or mentioned them, after he had gotten Mary and co. on side. And as she, and many, readily admit, they were so keen to show Lowe the door that emotion blinded any logicical, in depth thinking like getting them checked out. Its all well and good for the pro Lowes to keep throwing this train of thought up but what they fail to understand is that the majority were so desperate to get Lowe away from this football club even little green men in space ships would have been welcomed with open arms.

Top idea.....that should actually be one of the protests set up to rid this club of Lowe and co........and it would hit them hard in the pocket too !

Bottom line is if you have a game postponed when you are on a run of no wins or one win in Christ knows how long you must breath a huge sigh of relief cos there is always the chance that when its re-arranged you have started a little winning run. You cannot be serious ? The radio station and Insurance company were losing money hand over fist, it was, ironically, Wilde and co. who sold off/pulled the plug on those two turkeys. I am sure, given the type of man Lowe is, that IF he had paid back his severance pay we would have heard about it by now, if not via his own mouth through one of his media links ! Not bad is it, get a big pay off then two years later roll back into town !!
