  1. They are going up, no doubt about it. 250,000 crowd on Southsea Common incoming. Time to dust off the bus
  2. http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/football/pompey/pompey-boss-let-s-raise-the-fratton-roof-1-7864625 Cook appealing to the bestest to not boo them tonight. Lol.
  3. Not impressed?! They won 6-0!
  4. Apart from the hilarious name of the company, the quote from Mark Kelly is another lol. He sees the importance of local businesses supporting the club, does he see the importance of the club supporting local businesses?
  5. http://www.portsmouthfc.co.uk/news/article/2016-17/mustryharder-sponsor-pompey-academy-teams-3623693.aspx The jokes write themselves these days
  6. Liverlol 1-0 down at home to Burnley
  7. Tactically, we should set up like we did against Liverpool. Defend deep, hit them hard on the counter attack.
  8. Another away thrashing at a lesser opponent Looks like they're finally getting the hang of how to win in League Two. It's only taken them a few seasons.
  9. The Four Year Plan is a good one. It's about QPR and their rise to the Premier League a few years ago, and all of their crazy owners.
  10. Wah wah wah, against modern football, wah wah wah TV is king, get used to it.
  11. I miss the days when the Portsmouth News did live webchats. http://www2.portsmouth.co.uk/cp/pompey-webchats/events/08052013.html This one from Micah Hall is a highlight 12:42 Comment From PFC Tom Is it true you get all your information on PFC from SaintsWeb? 12:42 Micah Hall: Yes, they are boring aren't they! There are some great comments in there
  12. Done. Some interesting questions there. Normally when someone posts a survey for a dissertation, the questions are terrible. But you asked some good questions. I hope my responses are of some use to your work.
  13. The reason 3pm games aren't shown has nothing to do with Premier League games, they know very well that attendances would hardly be affected. But attendances at lower league clubs would be affected, and they depend on gate receipts far more than PL teams do.
  14. Sunderland are up there as well, they certainly have a higher wage bill then we do. Shows what good leadership can do for a club, and what bad leadership can do also!
  15. Unless they spend wisely in the summer, League 1 might be a bit of a struggle for them next season. I'm beginning to hope they go up, it'll make things much more interesting. Seeing them in League 2 is a bit boring now.
  16. I think that's unlikely. Even if he does make a full recovery before the end of the season, I imagine he'll play in an U23 game first. So hopefully we'll get some indication of his return
  17. Cook goes from zero to hero
  18. Forren joins Brighton http://www.seagulls.co.uk/news/article/2016-17/brighton-hove-albion-vegard-forren-3613571.aspx
  19. They've got a massive game at Crawley tonight. Win and they go into the top 3.
  20. West Ham 0-2 Chelsea at the moment, so it looks like we're staying in the top half
  21. Caceres looks like a class outfit. He and Yoshida will I think form an effective defensive partnership, until VVD comes back.
  22. Lol at this line We know another club who supposedly have 'passionate fans'. It seems like thuggery and hooliganism class as 'passion' these days. All utter b*llcks. We know it was the money José, we're not mugs. We'll be a better and stronger side with him gone.
  23. Their big day out to the House of Commons on Monday should be fun for them. Literally millions of coaches (caravans) packed with the Pompey faithful will be heading up the A3 to see them collect this historic trophy.
  24. It was back in 1976. We actually scored at least four goals in three consecutive away matches, two league matches and a European match in between. 5th October - Wolves 2-6 Southampton (Division 2) 20th October - Carrick Rangers 2-5 Southampton (Cup Winners Cup) 23rd October - Luton 1-4 Southampton (Division 2)
