  1. One of his recent retweets, I just hope the aliens are nice to our water.
  2. Morning Lance Corporal.
  3. Rescued a reasonable enough score from 96-6 but we’ll have to bowl well. I hate to pick on Whiteley but that’s been a stinker of a T20 season.
  4. I'm glad the Nazi nuclear scientists never found out about this. They could have created heavy water simply by shouting, "you fat, greedy c**t!" At a bottle of Evian.
  5. Does anyone know what the laws are regarding non compliance with government in this country? Obviously people like Tiss having their cake and eating it by saying stuff like that, whilst continuing to use the schools, roads, hospitals, police, fire, refuse collection, airports, energy, water/sewage etc. is nonsensical. Supposing he did go and live off grid, as a wild man eating berries in rural scrubland, could he claim immunity from any laws or governance?
  6. Went to see if Rickie had posted the same thing. He has, plus this little gem:
  7. Remember when Bolton sold Nicholas Anelka and replaced him with Rasiak on loan. Christ that was funny.
  8. Just bought two in the Northam, £26 each including the booking fee, with the members discount. Not bad really, considering we've regularly been asked to fork out £40 plus for dreadful football.
  9. I think the best way I can summarise Diallo is that we could have sold him, never mentioned it officially, and nobody would actually notice or care until about halfway through the season.
  10. Both were largely substandard. Ings had a good season once, that's about as much as you can say, few of his goals were reliant on either Adams or Long.
  11. I like to watch lesbian midgets in bondage gear, licking Angel Delight out of each others clevage. Just thought I'd get that out there now, so I'm immune to blackmail from the S*n.
  12. If anything sums up our batting in county cricket, it’s sending Abbott out to open, not that it really matters now.
  13. £15m these days buys you unproven nobodies from the Belgian League, not experienced (but still young) Englishmen who’ve proven themselves more than competent in the PL already. £15m would be about what we got for Vest, with only a year left on his contract.
  14. I guess that covers the obligatory, managers favourite fullback signing that everyone seems to get when they come here.
  15. On the face of it, looks to be an excellent potential signing. Bags of recent Championship experience, playing at a decent level.
  16. We’re making a beef stroganoff, apples and oranges may be different but both are equally unnecessary.

    Russia

Day 502 of the SMO. NATO now controls the entirety of the Baltic, aside from two tiny Russian enclaves.
  18. He doesn’t have a great record with kit releases either.
  19. Technically, they all are.
  20. It’s not essential to have a couple of geriatrics in the squad, there are plenty of 25-30 year olds with 200 plus league appearances, who are in the prime of their career. I don’t know how and why people started telling themselves that having a Long/Theo/Willy/Fonte in the squad was necessary but it isn’t. As long as they’re not ALL 21 year olds, there shouldn’t be an issue.
  21. No, they’ve paid us an enormous amount of money for our best players, which any club could have done if they’d been willing to stump up the cash. I don’t like Liverpool and all their gobby fans insisting they’re the most special club in Europe but as players go, I wouldn’t have cared whether we sold Virgil to them or Solihull Moors.
  22. ‘Putting up with’ wont come into it, unless there’s someone out there willing to match his wages. For a mediocre, Championship keeper I’d say that’s fairly unlikely.
  23. Okay, let’s all just be careful not to get into potentially libellous territory here. Actually, now I’ve said that, I haven’t seen Shep for a few days…
  24. Thiago Silva was 35 when he signed for Chelsea and is a year younger than Fonte. Fonte looked like he was struggling at West Ham when he was 34. If you’re going to make the comparison, you’ll have to wait to see how TS performs in 2024/25, when he’ll be 39 going on 40. How can you be honest about something you’re only guessing about? There’s no evidence at all that he’s better than Lyanco.
