If the Lino suspects offside, he flags. The game plays on, unless the attacking player is reasonably certain he is offside and gives up. Even if he plays on and scores, the whole ground is well aware off the offside flag and wouldn't be overly excited, pending a review and a likely disallowed goal. Likewise, if the ball goes out of play to the advantage of the attacking team (e.g. Corner, pen. Throw in) the replay is reviewed before it is taken. If the ball goes out of play to the defending team, play the free kick from the offside position as per normal, no need for any reply. Each team gets 2 challenges per half.

Yeah but apart from that we've had 3 league goals and one against Norwich. That's poor, no other word for it.

Terrorist Attacks - WARNING: CONTAINS DISTRESSING IMAGES
Lighthouse replied to sadoldgit's topic in The Lounge
A good start would be banning all religious schools as nothing breeds extremism like segregation and isolation. I don't know anything about this chap's background but certainly the French and Belgian attackers lived in Muslim slums in large cities. We need to try and combat ghettoisation, although that's easier said than done. -
Terrorist Attacks - WARNING: CONTAINS DISTRESSING IMAGES
Lighthouse replied to sadoldgit's topic in The Lounge
I think that was the thrust of it. Hit a bunch of people on the bridge, killing 2 (so far) and crashed into the rails outside Westminster, then ran inside the grounds and stabbed a Policeman (fatally) before eventually being shot dead. I don't expect sensible discussion on the internet but please can nobody share this guys name. Annonoymity is the best way to fight this kind of thing. Can't be a martyr if nobody has heard of you. -

4 people killed so far, including the Policeman who was stabbed. French school children apparently hit by the car on the bridge. Awful. -
Get behind the Derby FFS!

Why, is there another team on the south coast?
-
Surely having a player earning that much money is going to raise house prices.
-
True but look at who else is there. Rashford and his 3 league goals, Shaw who doesn't even play for Utd these days and Lingard who is usually a 20 min substitute. Struggling to think of a weaker squad in England's history TBH. I remember c.2004 being frustrated that Beattie and Phillips weren't in the squad. These days Ormerod would be starting.

Most top businessmen recommend this way of negotiating a good price.

I'm going to go with Hyde Park Corner.
-
Watching their first team go down to 10 after 35 mins. Herrera is such a dirty pr*ck.
-
I know, hence 'fit and in any sort of form'. It seems like 10 goals a season could get you in these days.
-
I'm sure I've seen a photo of LS, RL, AL, JR and JWP all holding an England shirt, the latter being U-21 capt. at that point. With Austin and J Rod fit and in any sort of form, we could easily have 6 players in the England squad. Competition up front is hardly intense, people are talking about Andre Grey getting a game. To think we once didn't have room in the squad for Ferdinand, Fowler, Andy Cole, Le Tiss and Collymore.

Who Do We Choose To Ship Out This Summer?
Lighthouse replied to View From The Top's topic in The Saints
Anyone who things we are going to sell Fraser in summer is going to be very much disappointed. He's a good Premier League 'keeper having a poor season, luckily Reed and co. will know this and won't be making knee jerk decisions to offload him. -
Good results for us, we were never going to catch Everton anyway. 8th very much on the cards, 7 points behind with 2 tough games in hand.
-
Or we might have conceded a bunch of other goals in different circumstances. Like the one we conceded at OT when José made a very weak attempt to challenge Zlatan for a header.

Who Do We Choose To Ship Out This Summer?

Unfortunately every man and his dog has figured that out, so he probably won't be coming here. He could well end up at City, Everton or Liverpool and won't be sitting on our bench. -
Fair enough, I obviously didn't pick up on that. Not that I'm bothered anyway, we're going to be mid table with a cup final and I doubt Fonte would have changed that.
-
The only part of that he will really care about is the money. If players actually cared about stadium size, they'd be leaving Chelsea to play for Newcastle. I also don't know why living in a nice part of London would be an appeal for him. After all that waffle about wanting money to support his family, etc. The price of living there is obscene. He could live in Winchester or the New Forest cheap and have a much bigger house with more land. He doesn't have to spend nearly 50 years doing nothing. He can earn a very comfortable salary doing media or coaching.

Seems very much an Everton signing to me. Would be an improvement on Robles and Stek for certain.

We have him and McQ competing for the same role. One has to go or he won't get any playing time; I would argue McQ is better. -
If PSG did Internet forum posts...

In order: Romeu Virgil Bertrand Yoshida Gabbi might well force his way onto the list too. The rest have been mediocre TBH. I like Redmonds attitude and Cedric has been improving but both have yet to be effective on a consistent basis.
