    Ryan Doble

Honorable mention to Walcott making his England debut before his Arsenal debut.

    I hate

Yes. God forbid we'd ever have to defend ourselves against an enemy more effective than a handful of religious nutters with home made landmines in the next century. That's about as far as I go with politics. I prefer to hate: Lame, unimaginative cheap TV. I recently saw adverts for a show on Sky 1 called 'The Middle'. Basically they've just taken the words "Malcolm in" off the front and called it a new show. Then there's that '7 days' show on Channel 4. Basically they've just taken Big Brother out of the house. Personal injury lawyers and their TV commercials. "Are you a brainless ***t who tripped over a piece of copper piping at work? Want to know if you're elligible for compensation? Well you're not. You work on a building site, open your eyes you stupid w*nker."
  3. Something about his appearance reminds me of Carlton Palmer (other than being a lanky black guy). Might be his running style.
  4. Top 6 by Christmas? Have you seen the table? Huddersfield are in the top six at the moment and we would go above them with a win on Saturday. We're 4 points of second and 7 points off top. There's no reason why we can't be topping the table by the end of November.
  5. I think the modern sh-t is called "contemporary" R&B. That's the stuff I can't stand. People with too much jewellery who can't speak English properly.
  6. And why does he appear to be attempting aviation in this photo?
  7. I'm confused.
  8. Couple of months in, what do we think of them so far? Stand out candidates for me would be: Barnard. Going purely from his on the pitch antics, he's been fantastic. Seaborne. Looks a different player to last season. Far less hoof. Lallana. When he has been fit, he has been the difference.
  9. I usually wear either Or Or And for away days
  10. I liked Saganowski, but a statue? FFS!
  11. A strange view on history you have there. - Davies was released because he was underperforming, unfit and had 5 goals to his name in 2 years. - Phillips left for Premier League football when we went down, claiming he was never happy here (nothing at all to do with certain rumours about the carphone warehouse). - Ormerod was released because despite all his effort, he couldn't match players like Rasiak, BWP, Fuller and Jones for goals. - Ricky looked very unfit and lazy at the start of this season. Why should he be undroppable because of last season? That kind of comfort zone breeds complacency. I don't think he should have been dropped, but every player needs to think their place is under threat.
  12. Not sure about genius, but it's much nearer that end of the scale. Don't think it can really be cringeworthy when it's just a p**s take. I personally find 'real' R&B far more cringeworthy, it's like they're trying to be a cliche.
  13. This squad (plus or minus a couple) has won at Hillsborough and Carrow Road in the last year or so, not to mention putting 5 past Huddersfield, Rovers and Walsall last year. We are capable of getting a win anywhere and if we play to our potential we will beat Huddersfield.
  14. There's no such thing as midgets, it's all done with mirrors and trap doors.
  15. Made me laugh too. Looked like he was just having an nice day out in Sheffield.
  16. Not sure about the name. He should either be a violin teacher or a WW2 fighter pilot.
  17. 2nd worse player at Lincoln. That's like having the second worst personality in Belgium. Just quit now Anthony and become a vicar.
  18. You mean Wigley has been sacked?!?
  19. A really good player when he was here, but he is completely crocked. We did well cashing in on him, even if we were subjected to Pulis in return.
  20. "... after her spy ring was busted this year." Sounds painful.
  21. That's the nuts and bolts of its. 99.99% of people who got on a plane on 9/11 arrived safely. More Brits were probably killed in road traffic accidents on 7/7 than died in the tunnels under London. I suppose what it all comes down to is when your time is up, it's up. If you happen to be in the wrong place at wrong time, there's nothing you can do about that. In the mean time, there's no point in living in fear.
  22. I think she was turned on by the fact that he's got wood. There must be a better pun in there somewhere...
  23. I wonder how many people have had the 'genius' idea of brewing their own hooch, only to end up in A&E. I was in Spain a few months ago and they were selling this nasty stuff from the local convenience stores. About €2 for a 4L bottle of homemade wine. I tried some and it was like drinking window cleaner. You could strip paint with it. Let us know if it's a success. If not... R.I.P.
  24. Guly would seem like a fairly obvious replacement, in behind Lambert. Lallana could do the job too, as could Puncheon in an emergency.
  25. Think I'm doing it wrong. Every time I try to clean and tidy my flat it ends up worse than when I started. I'm taking that as a sign from God that I shouldn't tidy my flat.
