Long's pace a useful option this season if we persist with 2 up front. Wouldn't renew his contract though. Equally i think Obafemi has attributes to play that role. Never want to see Long as a lone striker again as his finishing has become atrocious

Curious when the club analyse last night's goal will they say Bednarek should have been up with Stephens or Stephens was pressing too high.

Another very nervous finish. It's a shame we weren't able to put on a convincing 90 minute display but it's 3 points. Don't really approve of the extra defender sub as it didn't really make us more secure as Norwich should have really scored. Would prefer to see someone like obafemi replacing long in that scenario. Most played well first half. Thought Redmond worked very hard for the team and still worries defenders, just things not quite clicking for him. Thought his one lung busting run to byline aside Cedric was pretty mediocre. Adams showed a couple of flashes but still looks a work in progress.

Can't see us making changes to a winning lineup. I'd prefer to see Valery at right back, so hopefully he'll eventually dislodge the mediocre Cedric.

Adams obviously has a poor memory, if he’s forgotten how poorly he played despite being given far more games.

I don’t think he lacks ability. However he does have the John stones syndrome of just switching off or doing something lax. Might as well stick with him and bednarek & see if some sort of partnership can develop. As for yoshida, I like him but he seems to have carried the can for Leicester in ralph’s Eyes and with him being out of contract soon I wonder if we’ll See him again in a saints shirt.

Yeah it's got to the stage where just building a partnership with 2 of the centre backs is the only option as all of them have their moments. Don't get the PEH stuff, thought while not perfect was much better. I'd get valery in for cedric and boufal for redmond.
