Have to say i'm glad Millwall put out such a changed line-up. Could have been very different at half-time if they'd put their first xi up. Really glad we got the confidence boosting win, good second half display, goal for Pelle and chance for Cork to showcase to Koeman just how important he can be. Now fingers crossed for tough game at West Ham.

Really hope that's not the case. Hoping we keep hold of him, he plays regularly and we give him the good long term contract he deserves. I will be so beyond fuming if he's shoved out of Saints.

Well here's hoping the 2nd half Saints are on display against W Ham. Delighted for Cork(Has to start at the weekend surely) and relieved Pelle is off the mark. Still not thrilled by Long and feel we need to spend on another attacking option of some description. Hoping we get a home tie in the next round.

I'm no fan of home fans booing their own players. I'd prefer criticism to be on message boards, before, after game etc and support for the 90 minutes. However when after the high performance levels last year and the stupid sales that were made this summer, you can understand some people are going to be frustrated and disillusioned and take that out on replacements who are perceived as being of a lower standard.

Agree, his stats last season were good, considering he played out wide often and no doubt plenty of times substituted or from bench. Would be a great addition, so much better than Long.

Really hoping this is just a period of adjustment for Pelle and he'll come good. Hope we bring in a good alternative too as i'm no fan of Long.

Yeah Welbeck would be a good addition.

Dreadful performance vs a dreadful team. Points dropped. Still don't look anything like a top half team.

I'd have vastly preferred him to Long.
