I’d prefer to see someone else starting rather than broja at the moment(even if I do think he has potential) However today I have some sympathy as for over an hour he was isolated by a manager determined to lose to Burnley at all costs.

The worrying thing from Ralph's comments is that he was happy with the 2nd half display. There was a 5 minute spell after he eventually made a sub where we had a couple of chances for adams but that was about it.

I'd do hope we get a good 10 in. However i'm struggling to understand Ralph's persistence with the starting both Armstrong & Elyounessi. Redmond as he showed tonight has the ability to cause teams problems even if he's not perfect. Equally imo a game like tonight was screaming out for the direct running of Tella.

Livramento looked to be playing RB in a 5 to me. Even if it was a 4-2-2-2 why are you brining on a RB to play a 10 when you've got other options on the bench.

Yes the brief spell where he played our best rb out of position before he reverted to 5 at the back by subbing him off for another RB. He's a tactical genius.

If that display puts the 5-4-1 formation in the bin it would be the only positive from that outing.

Not clearly in out or in camp. Will say i'm getting very sick of this 'look very good in a handful of big showcase games' but go through spells of looking clueless. Same tactically at times you'll think Ralph is getting better and then you have games like today where you think Ralph's IQ is subpar.

Why would you want a like for like change when 2 nil down. KWP was playing like more of a right wing before he was subbed.

That doesn't explain the manager's deliberate hamstringing of the team and slowness to react.

He so wants to be Pep. Pep wants 5 subs so ralph wants 5 subs. Pep doesn't use subs when he's behind so ralph won't use subs

Well wieghorst missed a sitter for them so he better not get tips from him. First was awful(massive space to get the ball into, second was tougher chance imo. Worse than missed chances Romeu has been bad at his day job.

The gutless mentality of this team is shocking. To be fair saints should probably be at least 3 behind. don’t get how our manager thought playing a defensive line up, leaving our attacker isolated against bottom of the table Burnley was a great plan. He’s amazingly fortunate we scrapped that jammy win at the weekend. there better be multiple subs at ht. There’s only a couple of players (kwp and forster) who look interested.

hope we take elyounessi and any one of the cb’s off at ht and bring on tella and Adams. shape is all wrong for this opposition. That said some of performances from saints players are truly abysmal.

Think Wimbledon decision is wrong personally. Fair enough to ban Russia from Davis cup etc but on tour players are playing as individuals not officially representing their country.
