Will be a rubbish atmosphere for Saints fans sadly due to the whole of the Northam being taken again, shame really. If your home support is so supposed to help push the players on then we do ourselves no favours, even if the police force it as has been suggested I'm sure we could make a case for other options if we wanted.

I was just looking at those pics on twitter thinking exact same thing, looks miserable and like doesn't want to be there in both pics.

This post on the Echo comments pretty much sums up my thoughts: Here we go again, surprise surprise. Go on then **** off to a "bigger club like poch did to spuds(12th), lovren, lallana and lambert did to Liverpool (11th) and shaw and chambers did to utd and arsenal (6th&7th). We wouldn't want you to stay at our tinny little club southampton (2nd). Sorry if this is a bit hard on poor Morgan but with comments like this the sooner he goes the better. Bye bye onwards and upwards. COYR

Scummy northern club allowing him to be involved with the club again and alot of their supporters who seem to be on his side. Sickening really, he's a convicted rapist ffs.

what does Balotelli and El Classico have to do with Saints

Nice to see the club wishing him Happy Birthday on Twitter too. Great him and Benali being involved with the club again as they rightly should be.

Just featured on MOTD2 on their good and bad section thingy with what Benali did being "good good good"
-
Great welcome back for him and seeing most people forgo their half time pint for that special occasion. Amazing job, true Saints hero. Bit disgraceful MOTD couldn't spare a few secs to show it, no doubt if it was one of the big clubs they would have done. My view from the Northam

http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/news/11470007.Help_Saints_legend_finish_mammoth_charity_challenge/ Sotonians are being urged to turn out in their droves to welcome back the veteran defender and line the roads with banners and flags to cheer him home. Benali’s Big Challenge will climax when he enters St Mary’s, where Saints are taking on Newcastle United. The 45-year-old is expected to enter Southampton via Moorgreen Road shortly after 2pm, pass Moorgreen Hospital at 2.20pm before heading to West End Road and on to Bitterne. He will join Bitterne Road West at 2.40pm, cross the Northam Bridge around 2.45pm, and run along Britannia Road before he enters the stadium in front of cheering crowds. All timings are approximate. Saints chairman Ralph Kreuger has vowed to join Franny for part of the final day, which will begin at Alton. >>>> May try leave the pub bit earlier to see him running in
