  1. **** me. I count 6 academy products involved today. That was absolutely amazing.
  2. Cedric to the dugout-inventors: https://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2019/01/11/report-everton-interested-in-southamptons-cedric-soares/
  3. It's starting already, "better than Redmond." He can't even get a game for Reading FFS.
  4. And he can't be worse than Elyounoussi
  5. Seems he's been underwhelming for Reading, and they want rid. https://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2019/01/04/tt-report-saints-ace-josh-sims-to-have-his-reading-loan-deal-can/
  6. Billy Sharp made history as Sheffield United climbed up to third, courtesy of a 3-0 win at Wigan. The club captain’s 54th minute goal, a close-range finish set up by David McGoldrick – who had scored the first – made Sharp the highest goalscorer in English league football in the 21st century with 220 strikes, overtaking Rickie Lambert.
  7. He is staggeringly bad.
  8. Elyounoussi is slow, and his distribution and close control are poor. I haven't seen him contribute anything at all all game. I can't believe we spent money on him.
  9. Wtf?
  10. Could be turning out for Ireland soon.... https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-6533343/Ireland-considering-call-ups-Nathan-Redmond-Patrick-Bamford.html
  11. Lol, they're 2-0 down after battering Gillingham all game. Merry Xmas Skates :-)
  12. That surprises me, he comes across as extremely dense when interviewed.
  13. Fully expect us to win this one. COYS
  14. True, but he did score. Also, I thought Gabbi was excellent yesterday.
  15. He scored a perfectly good goal, yesterday
  16. This - we owe him a huge debt of gratitude
  17. I'm watching the game and both Huddersfield and Fulham are truly awful - significantly worse than us for my money.
  18. :-o
  19. Oh, and they have the best fans in the world, the extremely articulate Accrington Stanley boss says so: WTF?
  20. "Mr Wallace told the MPs it can take years for investigations into money laundering to be finished." Wasn't there supposed to be some forensic examination of the accounts and a report due out a year or two ago that never arrived? I bet it's them under investigation.
  21. I don't think we're likely to be relegated. After ten games, two teams have yet to win and two teams have goal differences of -17, and for my money, Newcastle, Fulham, and Huddersfield are all worse than us. Cardiff and Burnley are also desperately poor.
  22. Indeed, and anyone criticizing Hughes for playing Elyounoussi needs to explain which player they think we have who should be in the team ahead of him. Personally, I'd say we have a lot of mediocre footballers at the club, and I don't think that swapping him out with Ward Prowse or the Scottish bloke, for example, would make a great deal of difference.
  23. I felt we should have won, as I did last Saturday. We have now drawn more games than any other Premier League team, it's dispiriting.
  24. Except he's not a center forward
