Gaaah, this schmaltzy self-love out-drivels Factless: "I was sorry in a way that the game was over, and another "religious experience" consigned to the memory bank, for like a drug, attending Fratton Park is very addictive." Guardian reckons Sherwood is a likely replacement for Pulis. People complain about our board, but at least we haven't appointed that numpty our manager. http://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/aug/17/tim-sherwood-crystal-palace-tony-pulis-manager?CMP=twt_gu

Koeman promises not to use Saints as a stepping stone
Danbert replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Well, that's nice; believe it when I see it though... -
There are shares, fantasy skate virtual shares, virtual fantasy football multiple ownership of penalty spots and outright donations. The skates funding the training pitches are donating their cash, without even the fig leaf of the ownership of a worthless piece of paper with the word "share" written on it. This used to be considered necessary for deluding the gormless fishy ones out of their hard-earned, but apparently no longer.

To my mind the fees our outgoing players have commanded have been excessive. If someone offers you a huge amount of money for a player who's not worth it then it's easy to complete the deal quickly.
-
I've never negotiated a player transfer, but I'm pretty sure it's not the easiest thing in the world to pull off to a timecale. Given the sheer volume of transfer activity and the deals we've done and are rumoured to be completing I'm impressed with how we've handled things.

The first auction is for a 1993 replica away shirt with number 11 on the rear. Embarrassing doesn't really do it justice. If this was a village fete then fair enough, but I'd expected more from the world's largest sleeping giant massive community fan-owned Kickstarter club. .

If only we owned our club too, so we could have this sort of meaningful influence on things that really matter to us #jealousscummer

I'm sure this is another Pompey supporter involvement first. Surely the biggest and bestest choice of two more or less identical and equally crap programme covers ever in the history of world football whatsoever. http://www.portsmouthfc.co.uk/news/article/vote-for-programme-cover-design-1795370.aspx

Help fund the greatest, bestest and only ever virtual community penalty spot on the surface of the moon. We realize you may not have any money, but don't despair, this doesn't stop you giving us your possessions! Who knows, that stuff in the loft you nicked from a skip might actually turn out to be a priceless relic of the great Pompey Victory board room. We still haven't recovered the box that held the dusters - it's got to be out there somewhere. http://www.portsmouthfc.co.uk/news/article/donate-items-to-help-pompey-academy-1777539.aspx
-
Maybe you could swap it for a virtual penalty spot
