Couldn't agree more
-
Judging by the comments, even the locals are fed up with him.
-
Hard to believe he's that bad if he's a U18 international

It's all about self-hatred really...

A lot of the men who go to football games haven't been very successful in life. It makes them feel better about themselves to look down on others. If Pompey fans are all white van driving gypo chavs who sleep with their cousins, then at least I, as a Saints fan, am better than that.

Surely there's a Greece / grease / fat in the pipes pun in there somewhere.
-
Bit of a mismatch between the headline and the content of that article
-
Nah, that analogy doesn't work, unless the Pope has fathered more love children than I'd assumed.
-
And, given that, what possible benefit for him is there in scrapping for points with a losing side at the bottom of League 2? I'd rather jog round the pitch for Wolves reserves.
-
Wow - that's fraud of Bank of England proportions
-
Thought Ramirez was class when he came on.

Not sure about the modest squad - looks pretty bloated to me. Their official site has it that they have a 40-man squad, on the Beeb it's 36-man strong. Personally, I can't keep up. There are more comings and goings than [insert Uncle Avram pun here].

Sod the Pompey rythmetic, how sad do you have to be to turn up for a mass sponsored air guitar?
-
Lowest home gate of the season for them I think...

So another heroic 0-0 draw for the Skates, but with Northampton winning at Exeter that trapdoor's getting closer. Goal difference is a fine indicator of final league position, and Pompey have the third worst in the league; they're cutting it awfully fine.

"Someone like Jed is a player we'd like to build the team around. He is young, loves the club but wants to keep his options open" Sure, he does really Pompey, it's just that he's too young to commit. Sheesh...

"Unless he's willing to squeeze into a 2-man lycra tent and flop off the top board with the agility of a wardrobe"

I live in Copenhagen and I've seen him play on a number of occasions. I was amazed that anyone would think he was worth bringing to the Premier League. He's **** and Cardiff were mugs end of.

Actually, Glasgow_Saint's uncle is the former head of the charming Lyon family drug cartel. After a regrettable accident involving a ten-year-old's intestine and a condom full of Diazepam, the family are looking for new investment opportunities and are in need of a financial advisor. After an extensive selection process involving the careful vetting of thousands of applicants you have been identified as a suitable candidate. In fact the family are so keen, they want you to provide your bank account details so they can transfer funds right away. Hence the friend request.

For God's sake it's just a message board. If someone says something you don't like you can just ignore them; this is particularly easy if you don't value their opinion. Why let it get to you?

Lallana and Shaw seem to be putting a shift in Rickie's been dreadful and very slow

I was worried it was just me; he really did write that didn't he. It could be that he's undergone his own little Damascene Conversion, turned himself from a hero into a villain and is a secret Saint. Or perhaps he's got so fed up with having to write this crap that he's decided to tell us what he really thinks and hopes no-one notices. What's more likely, I'm afraid, is that he's the worst journo this world will ever see and that even writing accidentally sickening Pompey hagiography is beyond him.

WTF???

A. Pompeyfan discussing Exeter: This is a particularly telling example of #SkateDoubleFink and tells you everything you need to know about the culture of their club. Apparently, Exeter are "a well-run club" and a "model for fans [sic] ownership." This despite the fact they've put Tisdale on a contract they can't afford, are nearly bust and are going to have to get the begging bowl out again. Ring any Chimes? It's certainly a model I recognise, but not one I'd aspire to.
