  1. Has Dubai Phil been to a Pompey home game?
  2. And so relevant too...
  3. If we've reached the point where we're excited by nine-year-old plastics from Australia then yes, we are a laughing stock.
  4. A friend of mine who's friends with the family says Ian Dowie's been holding talks
  5. Loving the camera work: http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/vialli-lauds-pompey-ambition-1-6111242 £6,000 already raised for the headless Pompey monster. Oh, and Tifosy... I'm sure they'll be worth billions in years to come.
  6. No way, not without a haircut, anyway.
  7. Jeeesus, it's just milk, milk, milk. Do they actually have any initiatives that don't involve getting out the begging bowl?
  8. And there was me thinking that "Community Club" meant Pompey giving something back to the community, not voraciously milking it for all it's worth... I wonder how many of those kids will actually turn up for week 2 once they realize the life skills they will be acquiring consist of how to leaflet the high street and how to persuade your Nan to part with a tenner.
  9. I guess it's one way to spend your summer holidays. Personally, I found actually earning some money whilst at work more appealing at that age. I wonder which evil Fagin of an "Engagement Manager" dreamed that one up.
  10. Yep, I think that's the way this community club works
  11. It's called, exploiting people.
  12. At times the outrage on here feels a little strained to me, but this... http://www.portsmouthfc.co.uk/news/article/share-opportunity-for-young-fans-1618451.aspx I genuinely find this shocking
  13. Psycho
  14. Agent Connolly's loan deal with Oxford is up, and I think he still has a year left on his contract, so I guess he's on his way back to the septic isle. That'll confuse the hero-villain swingometer.
  15. A bit off topic but, after 84 minutes, it's Italy 1 Luxembourg 1
  16. http://www.chichester.co.uk/sport/pompey-latest/pompey-delight-at-early-take-up-for-new-lottery-1-6090893 Surely this is only a "crucial money-spinner" if you're a rose-tinted Pompey maths specialist. I make that about £2.50 a week minus expenses and whatever buttons and soiled condoms they manage to collect.
  17. Anyone with a memory knows that for much of this season Rickie has come in for stick for putting in below par performances. Personally, I think he's had his last season as a worthy first choice center forward - for Saints, let alone Liverpool. Getting 4 million for him is an absolute steal.
  18. http://www.chichester.co.uk/sport/pompey-latest/transfers-are-an-education-for-pompey-boss-1-6080855 Soaking up Jim Smith's pearls of wisdom... The mind boggles...
  19. What is there to comment on? Nothing's happened you total smeghead.
  20. http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/awfs-is-one-of-game-s-bright-young-things-1-6066433 As inauspicious nick names go, "Awfs" has to be right up there. Apparently he's the biggest hero since the last one, and set to be even more heroic as he steers the Pompey ship in the wake of footballing giant AFC Bournemouth (shurely shome mishtake).
  21. You should change your username to Walter Mitty
  22. "How quickly does a month go? They say that a week is a long time in politics, wel this month at Pompey has felt like a lifetime of emotions all rolled up into one!" The Factless school of hyperbolic emotional drivel journalism and quality proofreading has obviously rubbed off... Now all he needs to master is the one-sentence paragraph.
  23. Well, I guess we'll all feel right at home then.
  24. Daily Mail Watch - this should answer your question
  25. Shelling out more in salaries than Athletico Madrid http://www.theguardian.com/news/datablog/2014/apr/15/manchester-city-best-paid-team-in-global-salary-survey-compare
