  1. True. But, you have to admit UKIP have form for these sort of comments. Off the top of my head the "Women are sluts" and "Bongo Bongo land" comments spring to mind, and both happened relatively recently. They are picked up upon as these are people trying to convince us they are decent choices to represent us at local, national and european levels, and to make decisions on our behalf using their judgement. I would suggest that someone that makes these comments in public doesn't have great judgement. I also think if this was some old Etonian Tory backbencher/Peer this would likely have been picked up too imo.
  2. I heard someone was once sacked and they wern't very happy about it! He was so nasty.
  3. There's about one serious post on here, isn't there?
  4. You make it sound like this is the first time Pap.
  5. Again, sacked employee in being disgruntled at former employer shocker.
  6. True, all good points. Hard to speculate whether they would have or not, but I agree it certainly gives them a decent out where they can make themselves look good. Agree about demanding he was dropped, though I think they should have asked questions about WBAs apparent total lack of action whatsoever.
  7. But nah, she's a bird. What does she know. Actually, let's go Alfie style and just refer to her as it from here on in.
  8. I'd have fined/suspended him if I'm honest. Utterly stupid thing to do. Agree the club have handled this poorly. No way in hell a club can be happy about one of their players wading into a political row like this, especially when taking that side.
  9. Does 'she' have a name?
  10. Person in charge of making sure people do things in being not universally popular shocker.
  11. Crikey, this has all gotten out of hand. Hasn't it? Pretty silly of Anelka in the first place really, sure he wouldn't have envisaged all this, but surely he has been around enough to know there would be something to come of it. Can't imagine his employers are all too happy about this mess now. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25810659
  12. How about an All Saints style really deep plunging V neck. Really show off the players pecs.
  13. #2 Priority imo. After stripes, obv.
  14. Eh? One minute I'm being sarcastic and ruining the thread. The next the same posts are sincere and I'm a hypocrite?
  15. It's the Cult Bear! They've got me so trapped! Send help yo!
  16. My favourite kit since I've been supporting Saints didn't have stripes (The Sash). And I really liked both of last years kits (the red & white - even if the white was never used). I must be the worst Saints fan in the world.
  17. I can't believe you would so willfully turn your back on the history and tradition of the club bear. These are the important things, nothing else matters.
  18. I just find it hilarious that grown men get so worked up about what other grown men are wearing. Stripes aren't even that well ingrained in Saints history. If this is the criteria you want the man/woman who is potentially going to run the club to be judged upon, I would suggest your priorities are pretty askew. The past/history is for the fans. It's of little concern to players, staff bought in with no prior affiliation to the club. There concern is the future, and hopefully creating more memories to look back on. p.s. if you have such a problem with sarcasm this really ent the place for you pal.
  19. I JUST WANT STRIPES!!! STRIPES ARE ALL THAT MATTER!
  20. I'm for reals. I want a nice stripey kit. That is all I care about. It's much more important than a club that is being well run and has been upwardly mobile for 4.5 years. Or a dynamic club that has been praised for how well run it is. Stripes and history for me.
  21. Hear, hear. We should only look backwards. Worship former glories (we are awash with them), keep the kit the same, etc etc etc. Don't bother looking to the future, and certainly have no ambitions of doing anything differently, or heavens forbid trying to upset the establishment. That would just be embarrassing.
  22. Sounds as though NC isn't the only one with an out of whack ego.
  23. If true, which I have no reason to believe it isn't, this is encouraging.
  24. "Grandiose sense of self worth, charisma, charm, ruthlessness" Have you actually spent much time with him? Or have you gathered this info through the press and speculation? If the first, crack on. If not, I think it's a bit silly to start banding around these sorts of terms.
