  1. GASTON!!!!!!
  2. Please don't take any of this as patronising, I genuinely do not mean to be. 1) Have you turned on Flash? The lightning icon top right? 2) Select the cursor option, lets you close ads with much more accuracy. Once you close the ads, it should work fine I'm using in as we speak and it's running pretty well.
  3. What's up? I feel responsible as I recommended it.
  4. ok that one is saints - cheers mate
  5. Better or not what's the point? He's far too flimsy for such a big bloke, how much have West Ham chucked down the drain on him this season and last for such minimal return? He's effective at what he does - and yeah he is basically Big Sam's wet dream, but I personally am not that sold on him. He is, as you would expect, amazing aerially and a real handful, but as soon as he brings the ball down he struggles. He just isn't sticky enough for a target man, and not quick enough to counter attack. Just my opinion of course. In answer to the OP: Down Sunderland: Goners. You cannot chop and change your squad like that. It may make some fans, Alpine, happy to see 15 odd players come in, but the fact is fans (my self included) are idiots and do not know how to run a club. It doesn't help that they spent a lot of money on mediocre players. Have any of all their signings actually been an improvement? Fulham: I don't actually mind Fulham. Not really sure why, just always had a soft spot for them. But as has been said, their policy of signing older players has bitten them on the backside. No drive, no dynamism, no energy, no creativity. Plus, leaking goals at that rate (6 away to Hull FFS) is lethal. Not too sure bout the last one. For some odd reason I'm going against my usual feelings and actually wanting Palace to escape. I've never really liked them, and I've always disliked Pulis and his style, but now for some reason I find myself willing them both on. Not too sure bout West Ham, I just think Sam has too much nous to go down. Plus the idiots at the top will probably throw him some more money to spunk on yet another striker and be ok. Then again, it depends on who Cardiff get as manager, and how well they spend their "large sums" in January. Same as WBA, though without the large sums. The 3rd will probably come from that group though. Up QPR: Don't like them, or the manager, or half the team (yes you Joey Barton) but that squad is easily good enough to win promotion. A manager much worse and less experienced than 'Arry should get that squad promoted. Derby: More hope than expectation. They have some really good young players, and it would be good if they could get them up and get some playing time in the Prem before being picked off by Prem clubs and left to rot in the reserves - would love to see us poach Will Hughes. Possibly Leicester, but they have been in this position for a few years now and keep bottling it, despite the stupid money they have thrown around over the past few seasons. Maybe Pearson isn't the man to take them up? Can't see him getting another crack if they don't do it this year. Burnley? Maybe, Dyche seems a decent young manager, doing a good job with a pretty small squad, would quite like them to make it.
  6. Good game yesterday, but pretty much the first time he's shown up for them. Don't really understand his elevation to hero worship on here, or how he was seen as a top player last season. Gaston got a higher goals & assists tally in less games. Yet he's awful, and should be gotten rid of. Then again at least Puncheon is a good, pacy English winger and not one of them Carlos Kickballs. I despair, I really do.
  7. I'm a big, big fan. Saw them at either Islington or the Astoria in '05 with a mate who said I have to see this band. They were amazing. Loved them ever since. Lost count of how many times I've now see them. It's funny, the third album, Humbug, divides opinion so much yet is definitely my favourite - though Suck it & See is a not too distant second. Didn't actually love AM. Amongst the best British bands, possibly global, this side of 2000 in my opinion. So yeah, a massive WORD from me.
  8. Just watched Up with the gf. I have seen it before, but what a gorgeous story that is. The guys and girls at Pixar are really bloody brilliant. Would love to be that talented.
  9. In many ways you are of course right. But Utd are a strange case at the moment. Look what happened in the summer, they struggled to get anyone in with a number of players turning them down. Even players linked more recently have said they don't want to leave their current clubs or aren't interested in man utd. I'm sure utd will be fine, and should Adam go I wouldn't really begrudge him it. But I have a feeling he won't be so quick to jump ship just yet. I'd put money on him being here til the end of the season at the very least. Could be wrong, but I would be more surprised at him going now than him staying.
  10. It's a paid app, but I find it generally pretty decent. Once you close the pop ups you are usually fine, obviously only Flash streams work. https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/photon-flash-player-for-ipad/id430200224?mt=8
  11. Have a day off mate.
  12. Download a flash supporting browser. I use photon.
  13. Hoping this sees a return to form for Rickie. Probably wrong, but feels ages since he's scored in successive games. Hasn't been at the very high levels of form he had previously done here for a little while.
  14. JRod is class! Please don't muck this up Saints!
  15. Turing is every inch the hero. His treatment is a dark stain on this countries history. Thankfully, attitudes towards gay people are changing amongst sensible people. Would have thought they were your sort of stories given that nonsense you were posting the other day.
  16. As we're Stam, Keane etc. Fergie knew no-one is bigger than the club. Don't think that is quite the case with Rickie. Whilst he ain't wrong, I don't like that on the pitch. Helps nothing.
  17. & Janujaz lol. In fairness Ozil started fantastically, but has gone off the boil. Suarez Aguero Ramsey Cabaye Lukaku
  18. Dammit bear. I attempted to post whilst on the train that a simple work around would be to place staff with such objections elsewhere (ie not on checkouts) so as to avoid this scenario! I'm so bloody smart.
  19. In no order whatsoever: Parquet Courts - Light up gold Savages - Silence Yourself Palma Violets - 180 Kavinsky - OutRun FIDLAR - FIDLAR Chvrches - The Bones of What you Believe Drenge - Drenge Sky Ferreira - Night Time, My Time Kurt Vile - Walking on a Pretty Daze Mazes - Ores & Minerals iceage - You're Nothing Glasser - Interiors Cosmo - Cosmo Splashh - Comfort And of course, Arcade Fire - Reflektor. Sorry, may have gotten carried away
  20. Really fed up with that today. So frustrating to see the shambolic defending of last season rear it's ugly head again. All three of the goals were totally avoidable. Second half was pathetic, being carved open at will, lucky to not receive a real thumping really. Only bright spot was Lallana. The boy is class.
  21. Probably unlikely after John McVie being diagnosed with cancer. They called off their tour. Obviously I would love it if he is better in time, but I can't really see it happening.
