  1. Mrs B was nearly clipped by his Rolls in Liverpool, the bird driving it was too busy verbally sparring with her passenger to notice the red traffic light on a pedestrian crossing. I vote no !
  2. They have to avoid losing to CSKA in their last group game to do that.
  3. Ain't that the truth.
  4. So in response to the thread title, that'll be probably not for the next 18 months.
  5. I think the car has to be taxed by the new owner from day #1. This situation seems to be just another example of the Civil Service lacking any ability to design an effective IT system.
  6. Of course Grayling denies it, he could hardly admit it was a true picture. However, The Times seems to assume the documents leaked to it are genuine.
  7. Then you and Alpine can have a big party to celebrate.
  8. Well, currently we are in the top half of the Prem, have a good chance of progression to the Europa knock-out stages, and are still in the League Cup plus the Checkatrade. I think there are 2 things of slight concern, FF's form and a lack of goals, compared to chances made. I wonder if any of the coaching staff my have noticed those as well ?
  9. Maybe it's a good thing HRC didn't win. What sort of mess would she have made on the world stage if she couldn't even properly rig an election against Trump ?
  10. "Over here" the Prime Minister doesn't have the codes to launch enough megatonnage to destroy the Earth countless times over.
  11. Batman, it's polite to quote your sources. ( Copy & paste is so easy ).
  12. Why does Nicola Sturgeon-Krankie think the Scottish Parliament has to get a vote on A50? Isn't that what their Westminster MPs are there for, if it comes to pass.
  13. Given a persistent 20mph+ northerly to add wind chill to the mix, blowing straight across Morecambe Bay, I went with layers, full finger gloves, and overshoes.
  14. This.
  15. If you think that was bad, Donald Trump could be POTUS next week.
  16. Austin and Boufal ?
  17. Some people need to take a chill pill.
  18. 4 according to the BBC.
  19. But can we realistically maintain such a level of effort for the whole 45 minutes ?
  20. And maybe the seller knows that he's really the only source for what you are looking for, and that your Mrs will have your balls if you don't go home with it. You seem to think that only the UK will be playing hardball. There have already been several statements from EU leaders stating their ( non ) negotiating position, all they have to do is stick to the established position re access to the single market. It may well be that our choice ends up as either EFTA, with all the associated impediments, or WTO rules with no concessions from Europe.
  21. Parliament should be the body that approves the invocation of Article 50, even if it is effectively a symbolic rubber-stamping of the process. After that Parliament must, when the time comes, consider, debate, and approve whatever proposed form Brexit finally takes.
  22. And what happens if, say a year and 9 months down the road from A50 beig invoked, the UK negotiaters put their 'deal' to Parliament, who promptly reject it ? Parliament reflects the will of the entire electorate, the Cabinet reflects a narrow group of self-interests and lobby groups.
  23. So, lawyers, as a group, hold differing opinions on a subject. Who woulld have thought that possible ?
