Yeah, I mean we did rubbish last season didn't we. I can't think why the club doesn't listen to you.

Our Masters teams were always rubbish. Filled with the likes of Nicky Banger. Wasn't the keeper on year some huge fattie who played for Eastleigh who had never played a first team game for SFC? Even Matty struggled to keep up with the pace of the 5-a-side game. Probably best we don't field a team!

Exclusive! New signing from St. James Park to St Mary's....

Hope he does better than Seaborne has. -
Was his moving on anything to do with his son spilling ITK snippets from him on fan's message boards?

I have no idea what the above means but given his Dad has publically expressed his desire for Alex to go to Arsenal then it really was just a matter of time (and money). What would you suggest Cortese should do then? Play hardball and keep a player against his will? He won't be any good for us in that situation and will simply run down his contract and leave for next to nothing. Who would benefit from that?

Keeping a player who wants to go (and whose family want him to go is impossible for any club/chairman)
-
There was indeed. Complete with quotes from the MD of the new company so would be surprised if it wasn't the case.

For SLH you are right, but your argument is somewhat undermined by the fact that we are owned by a family of mega billionaires. The PL bubble will never burst. People around the world will always want to watch the PL on tv even if the numbers of people going to the game live fall. The people who seem to unable to grasp this tend to be people who watch live themselves.

Fans who go to games are a complete irrelanvance to Premier League football teams. The real money comes from TV revenue. And it's not even just UK TV revenues that are more important, just look at how much the Far East Premier League TV rights went for. Teams can survive perfectly well in the Prem with a few thouasand fans, just look at Wigan.

If he is not found guilty then he is a shoe in for next England manager.
-
You're right. I think there was a trades description case brought against him.

The Redknapp stuff must be 100% bollix. The bloke is in his 60s and is getting fed up with driving from Sandbanks to London every day. He wouldn't want the Chelski job, there's only one job he is hanging out for and he would accept it today if the FA were to offer it him.

Interesting that a lot of media sites have reported his cause of death as heart attack. -
Will be playing for Colchester next season.

Think yourself lucky. After he was banned from here he took up residence on Nick Illingsworth's Ugly forum and has been so utterly dull and repetitive over there that about 50 forum regulars have set up their own forum just to get away from him. He's having a field day on this subject tho as I am sure you can imagine.

He used to log onto this site every day, but acording to his profile he hasn't been here since 14th Feb. Maybe the novelty has worn off now King Kenny has returned to Liverpool."COYR"

The Premier League are opposed to this. (rightly in my opinion) http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/12830836.stm -
Because Solent seemed obsessed with recalling Puncheon last night...
once_bitterne replied to The9's topic in The Saints
You have got your Parry's confused. As The 9 noted, Alan Parry is a fairly inoffensive commentator of the 90s. The person you are referring to is Mike Parry, who was Alan Brazil's partner in booze on Talk Sport for the best part of a decade. He left the station when his spot in the schedule was given to Sma**** and Nasty (Keys and Gray) and has popped up for a couple of stints on 606 when Alan Green is away. You are correct about his MO being to say moronic things in order to provoke arguement, funnily enough it worked well on Talksport and managed to hook in quite a few white van men. -

So Puncheon is on loan for the rest of the season. But that is the Premier League season. If we end up in the play-offs can we use him if needed as this will be after the PL season has completed. -
Oh dear. Same old 'investment' rubbish! Things never change. We spent every penny we had to spend. We were not owned by a sugar daddy so could not run at a loss. We did this under Wilde and it ended up with admin. The selling club statement always makes me chuckle. When a player wants to leave a club he will. Bridge, Theo, Walcott, etc left as they wanted to move to a bigger club. Ronaldo wanted to go to Real, does this mean Man Yoo is a selling club. A selling club is one that activiely looks to sell its best players for financial reasons, we only did this when we were fighting liquidation and certainly not ever in our time in the PL.

Lowe precided over us getting relegation from the PL. The admin and relegation from the CCC can be laid at the door of Mr Mike (COYR) Wilde esq.

once_bitterne replied to Dibden Purlieu Saint's topic in The Saints
Are they a plc? Any idea of what their turnover was last year? To those moaning, had anyone heard of the IT company that sponsor Spurs before this season?
