'Cos it is far better watching a game in a full stadium than a half empty one. I take it you have never watched a Prem game at the DW Stadium. 40k is a stupid number anyway, no way that we would move/expand SMS just to add 5k seats it would have to be at least 40k and prob 50k just to make the exerise worthwhile.
-
That would be before our benefactor died. I really can't see us still being owned by the Liebherr's in 5 years time so talk of a new stadium is laughable. Spending on the first team has all but dried up so to think we could afford c. £100m on a new stadium and entertainment complex is laughable. In any case the size of SMS is perfect for the size of our fanbase. Even when we were doing well in the Prem it was possible for non-st holders to buy a ticket for all games bar the Big 4 and Pompey. TBH, I would rather have a 35k stadium that there is excess demand for 5% of the time than a 50k stadium that has thousands of empty seats 95% of the time.

He is Nothern so I would assume there is a high chance he has false teeth. I assume he has rickets as well. HTH.
-
He's beginning to look a lot like Beattie in in last few months here (and career at other clubs after us) where injuries really do seem to have caught up with him.
-
You're pretty near spot on. He left the 10-1 slot as it clashed with his ITV 'work'.
-
He hasn't worked at TalkSport for quite a few months now. I had heard the rumour that he wasn't happy here as he felt our team was always built around MLT and not him(!)
-
Say what you will about GM but I think his grasp of written English was far better than leftbacks!
-
I assume that rumours that leftback was the disgruntled Mr Benali were rubbish? I would hope that one of our former greats (kind of) would have a better grasp of the English language.

or even Verwood....

Lallana's house in Vermood has been put on the market today. He only moved in 6 months ago!

Indeed he did. Unlike he he should not be named who ran the club within its means, Honest Mikey "invested" in the team to the tune of £8m that we didn't have. Yes, it ended up in administration and the club very nearly disappearing completly but to critisise the Liverpool supporting Wilde for that would just be churlish. As the great man used to say: COYR. -

I'm sure Guided Missile would have had some interesting thoughts on this thread..... if he hadn't been chased off of this site by the mods. -
He's on Talksport this afternoon on the Goldstein and Cundy show.
-
If he can still see straight... He managed to damage his eye putting his contact lens in which then got infected and he needed a cornea transplant (ouch!)

Pompey winning.... Sadly more chance of them being in the Prem next season than ceasing to exist....

The U21s are just the reserves, but playing in friendlies and not the reserve league. I can't really see the point in the name change as non-first team players who are older than 21 such as Bart, Wotton and Holmes still feature regularly in the U21s. I bet it made Wotton smile. Footballs must have still had laces the last time he played in a U21 game.
