Bournemouth 1 - 3 Saints - Post Match Reaction

Fuc k off you pretend fish fiddlers. That is all. -
The irony in this thread is that many of the 'hard core' 'old skool' fans aren't there for the football either. There are a large % of these who go either just to exchange abuse with away fans (not even bothering to look at the pitch) or go to games as an opportunity to have a drinking session with mates and often end up in no fit state to watch the match. These 'casuals' are of the, turn up to the game late as they have been in the pub, leave at 40 mins to get a pint, get back late for the second half and then leave the game early to get back to the pub. It could be very easy to argue that the face painting, jester hat, replica shirt wearing fans has farmore interest in the actual game of football than the beered up 'casual'.

What was typically Saints was for us to get a Billionaire owner.... who then passes away months after buying the club.

Didn't realise until today that Ricardson has played both in the Premier League and the Uefa Cup.

Not really people, just Stu. Other than that it's been going for over a decade with one one banning, and that was a Skate.

What could you possibly have concerns about? I mean it's not as if it is obviously a vehicle for Stu to carry out his one man crusade against Cortese is it?? Oh......

I remember this being sung at Kenilworth Rd our first season in the CCC when we were winning 2-1. We lost 3-2. 'We're only here for a season' was also sung too. In fact we lasted 4. (but didn't escape in the direction we were expecting)

Griffit now plays in America for Columbus Crew and Folly for Aberdeen. Well he did before he got his ankle broken on a tackle on Boxing Day.

He's on twitter. Seems to be a Villa fan, guess he is from those parts and bizarrely he is following Portsmouth Football club!! http://www.twitter.com/jamiewhite1

or to be exact Pedro Monteiro. I always blamed his signing for the main reason we didn't get near the top 2 places during the Wilde/Burley 'error' when we were gambling the future of the club in a desperate hope to get back the Prem. With Claus and Killer injury prone we desperately needed a good, strong, solid and dependable CB who knew the CCC inside out. So what did Gormless George do? Went out and wasted the best part of a milion quid on a bloke who had never even set foot in the UK much less had any experience of English fotball and proved to be the worst CB I have ever seen in a Saints shirt. Jackobsen looked like Tony Adams in comparison to him. And don't even start with the 'but he was an ok midfield player'. That's like spending 20k on a second hand Rolls, finding out it doesn't start and then trying to console yourself by thinking at least it makes an adequete bottle opener. Anyway, I realise the fault was all Burley's and not Pedro's, but I still chuckled to find him on the PFA's homeless site. Apparently he is playing non-league footaball on a non-contract basis at the mo. I pray to god that it's not as a CB as he had all the physical presence of Nicholas Lyndhurst. http://www.givemefootball.com/transfer-details?player=20059&playerID=9685

He might have a very small number of shares but the station is owned by Ulster Media.

Graham will be moved to another slot (no doubt a graveyard one) and Parry has been booted from the station outright.

Anyone feel we can hold on for a point?

We'll need 7 to win this.

P.s. I never for a second believed that MoN would take a job at a third tier club!!!!
-
Do you mean there is a quote from O'Neill that he was never approached about the saints job? Do you have a link to that as there are some on the Ugly forum who insist that O'Neill would have taken the job here had it not been for NC insisting Les Reed stayed in his role.

Why?
