  1. is a good enough man for Markus to trust/rely on then he is good enough for me, and dare I say for any true fan of the club.
  2. ...or Cardiff.
  3. Has he signed yet?
  4. He was so private very little was known about him. Even his death didn't come to the public domain for 48 hours and we still have no idea of cause and maybe never will. He also had a son bit he doesn't seem to be involved in the family businesses.
  5. He had no children. Can anyone confirm if he was married? It's not out of the realms of possibilities that we could soon be up for sale again.
  6. The worst CB I have ever seen play for us.
  7. That article on the Plymouth os has now been removed....
  8. What a travesty of justice...
  9. Wasn't Murty meant to be training with us? I assume he still isn't back to fitness?
  10. The sessions are not open to the public. Pilchards works at Staplewood I believe.
  11. Has everyone admitted yet that there was no meeting and no letter sent or is their some dogged straw clutching still going on?
  12. Not sure but he doesn't seem to like any of them! http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?3852-Ousting-Lowe&p=87962#post87962
  13. Seems like quite a few who used to post on here frequently are drifting away. Whatever happened to Um Pahars?
  14. I'll be glad when the football starts again. This Summer has been bizarre! We are in the best shape we have been in for years, have the best manager in the League (a PL level manager in L1 FFS), a squad that EVERY manager in the league would swap their for in a heartbeat, for the first time in recent times have NOT had to sell our best player(s) during the off-season and have no financial worries at all. However, there is just the same amount of in-fighting, gloom and despondancy as when we were on the verges of going out of existance. I guess it's just a behaviour pattern some fans have been conditioned to for so long it now comes as second nature. Also, I guess fans who are interested in the football side of supporting the club tend to post less over the Summer as there aren't any actual games but those 'Social' Fans who have little interest in football but like the getting drunk with their mates side to supporting the club tend to post about topics that are far more important to them than football, like 'communication'.

  16. Nope! This forum caters for the nerdy obsessive minority of Saints fan. Do you think the more balanced majority of Saints fans would spend time on a 16 page thread about Illingsworth's s/t (or lack thereof) or a multi-page thread about car parking at SMS?
  17. There must be some irony somewhere in a thread that has reached 16 pages about a bloke who has possibly been barred from getting a season ticket but that person themselves refuses to view this forum as he disagrees for having to pay to use a fan's message board......
  18. There must be some irony somwhere in a thread that has reACHED
  19. The Trust's web site was hacked by Spammers about a year ago and had remained in it's hacked state ever since. Maybe they have finally got around to taking it off-line.....
  20. It might have helped if you had titled the thread over there a little less hypothetically! 'Has Nick been banned from SMS?' would have seemed a bit more accurate! You'll never get a job as a sub-editor on The Sun.....
  21. I thought Griffit and Folly could turn out to be our own Henry and Viera. They didn't......
  22. I think it is worth remembering how far we have come in a short time. Last Summer we didn't even know if we would be playing in the upcoming this season. This season we have the strongest team in the league, a team that EVERY manager in the division would love to have. Yet some are worried that maybe our Second XI isn't the 2nd strongest team in the Division.
  23. Can't quite get my head around those who say we need backup for Lambert. Given the players we have it is likely that Barnard will be on the bench and considering he had actually scored more goals for Southend than Lambert had for us at the time we signed him then I think that is pretty good back up.
  24. So the ST sales are pretty much what they were last year. I think that goes to show, despite what some self-professed genii on here think, unlike just about any other 'product' you can think of season tickets don't really need marketing. Fans are well aware of when the season starts and when they would need to buy/renew a s/t without the need for renewal packs, advertising in the paper, via email, etc, etc, etc. Maybe, just maybe, the very rich and successful Cortese does indeed know far more about running a businessthan those stuck in poorly paying menial office jobs with work so dull it allows then time to post on here 20+ times a day.
